Easily accessible from Tokyo Station via the Tokyo metro on the Hibiya line. Near to Shibuya and Roppongi. Rooms are also relatively bigger than the average Tokyo hotel. Only drawback is the 10 min walk uphill to reach the hotel.More

What great feedback we have received from you!
The team and I are delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay here at Hotel Monterey AKASAKA.

Room is small but you really can't expect more in Tokyo. Many restaruants and pubs around the area. Staff is nice but can speak limited English.
Suggest you book the room in the Hotel website because they have unexpected discount all the time.
I was in Tokyo for leisure by myself and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a relatively new and nice hotel, but I wasn't expecting such a small room. It was a "double" room for single use. I think it had a...More
Stayed here for 3 nights while sightseeing in Tokyo, found this hotel online after our first choice in Shinjuku was sold out. The price was good for Tokyo (averaged about $130 a night with tax) and it was in a good location. While there is...More

Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.

I've only stayed here in the summer (and we were able to adjust the temperature for the room) but I have also stayed at Monterey Hotels in both Kyoto and Osaka during the winter and was able to adjust the room temperature no problem. Pretty sure it's the same for all hotels throughout the chain.

The hotel will store your luggage. It is a very central place. You can walk towards Omotesando, but it is also very easy to take the metro to Ginza and stroll around there. The winter season is really nice in Tokyo. It is cold, but dry and less crowded. Some places close between the year, but only for some days, so when you arrive everything will be back in business.
