The New Sanno is great if you are authorized to stay there...check before you go! The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. It is an American style hotel in the middle of Tokyo. If you don't want to leave the hotel, there is a lounge, restaurants, pool, and small convenience store on-site. The staff is great, and since it is... More

Recently stayed one night in a King bedroom at the New Sanno. Staff quick to offer upgrade (at appropriate cost) from twin bedroom to King. Rooms was extremely spacious (for just $81 USD, much less expensive than any comparable hotel available). Lobby had a regal wooden feel to it with several restaurants to choose from. Gift shop appeared to have... More

This is a military only hotel. It's a wonderful hotel in the middle of Tokyo. This is right near a Hibiya line metro station that can connect you to all other lines and districts. The hotel has every little thing you could need. The staff was very accommodating, kept our room clean, & well stocked. We ate breakfast one morning... More

This is a military hotel and therefore one must have orders to allow you to stay. My son and I enjoyed our rooms. His was smaller then mine. Mine had a sitting area as well as a dressing area. My wife would have loved the vanity. This hotel is designed to give servicemen a touch of home when they are... More

We had a good stay at The New Sanno. The reservation process was smooth even though we went on the wait list for the dates we asked for. I wish I got the name of who I called because he was VERY helpful and explained the process to me. We had contact from the wait list after a couple weeks... More

The New Sanno hotel in Tokyo was a quick drive from Haneda International Airport and close to shopping and restaurants. It is close to transportation including the Heroo station for metro access and a bus stop within a block of the entrance to the hotel. It was an easy walk down embassy row to the famous Yonamine Pearl stor e... More

This is not really a hotel -- it is more of a military base. The first "welcome" you have is that your taxi is denied entrance and you and your luggage will be dumped on the sidewalk. Forget a porter -- cart it yourself. Then be certain you have proper ID. Luckily I (along with husband) did, although mine was... More

This hotel is in an excellent area of Tokyo, just minutes from a subway station. It is a little jewel stashed away, and you might just walk by it if you are not looking for it. The security at the entrance are very nice, including the guard kitty who hangs out with them. There is a convenience store just a... More

This hotel is one of the best in town. The service is friendly and always inviting. The food is remarkable. My family and I stay here at least twice a year. They have 3 restaurants on the grounds that serve great food.

This is just... Typical military lodging. Cost is my rank and that equals a Good price. It is a great location- close to mass transit and has free parking if you drive. The food is only ok, I had heard such great things that I was a tad disappointed with the quality. The rooms are only okay. You can tell... More
