We love this hotel. The lobby is beautiful and so welcoming. Check in desk was so very easy and professional. The valets and all greeting staff are happy and kind. Our suite was just the most fabulous. Very large and every thing we would needed. Most of all we loved the balcony looking over the courtyard. We watched the sunset,...

Overall, their service is impeccable as in most hotels in Japan. As SPG platinum, my room was upgraded and club lounge services included with breakfast. The spread there is alright. Rooms are clean, though a little dated. I think they are refurbishing it now. Hotel is in a local affluent neighborhood. Hotel includes a shuttle every 15 ins to Shinagawa...

The club room also clear well decorate. However the hotel is a little far from MRT, The better choice is take hotel shuttle to JR Maguro....

You will enjoy the hotel and the beautiful garden. Like both the Chinese restaurant and the California Grill for the quality of service, food and peaceful atmosphere. Also like the lobby lounge. Shuttle service to airports and nearby train stations make this a convenient spot for a visit to TOKYO

Property is a bit old however the rooms is in good conditions, staff is very polite and helpful, the shuttle bus to the train station is a great offer to the guests, Club Lounge is the best benefits ever and I will definitely return to this hotel again. Lots of convenience store at this area as well.

I was warned but it didn't bothered me. However, I can understand if other guests may be unhappy, therefore a note to inform fellow travelers. Stayed in Room 927 which is just behind the lift shafts. During the first night, due to much travelling, didn't hear anything as I knocked out after a whole day of meetings. On the 2nd...

Big room, clean and comfortable. Very good service, from room service, to travel desk, check-in and check-out. I did not try any restaurant. Walking distance (8-minutes) to nearest subway station (nice walk) or taxi to train Shinagawa Station (910 yen). close to Tokyo Tower, Shibuya and Roppongi Hills... Walking distance (8-minutes) to supermarket and 7-eleven. No local, walkable attraction... However,...

Was here before - but now first time in Winter and over the Weekend. In general the hotel is nice and well connected by shuttles to Shinagawa and other train stations. It has some good restaurants and bars. The Gym is ok and the pool quite large but in the basement. Rooms are ok and well maintained. What I found...

Hotel was fine. Nothing exceptional, but service was good and the room was clean. The subway was within walking distance, and the hotel provided a shuttle service to the nearest JR lines for those with a rail pass. I would consider staying again if I return to Tokyo.

Landed Tokyo early and arrived the hotel early. Was surprised and happy that we were offered early check-in as we were exhausted after a long flight and bus journey. Staff were pleasant and willing to help and rooms were nicely furnished. The only thing is it's a little far from the underground train station and shuttle bus only runs till...

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
