Its excellent location and pleasant staff, makes a wonderful hotel to stay in at Tokyo. A modern hotel located at shiodome station and a few minutes walking from Shimbasi station, close to Ginza and 10 minutes walking from Tsukiji Fishmarket. Rooms are well equiped, cleanliness and well equiped with wonderful views of Tokyo (recommended rooms with Tokyo tower view). Pleasant staff....

Everything about this hotel oozes quality, even down to the amenities shower cap which included a hairband. We had lovely views from the room which was very quiet. We didn't eat at the hotel as it was only a short walk the Ginza with all its restaurants and shops. The subway is right outside and train station only a short...

I stayed here in 2011 and liked it so much that I stayed again when visiting Tokyo this past September. The lobby is located on the 25th floor and gives the hotel a boutique feel, discouraging people from walking in off the street to gawk. I found the staff to be particularly accommodating at every level (even as someone who...

A very clean and modern hotel within a walkable distance from Ginza, very quiet area at night. Stayed for several nights but spent most of my time out and around Tokyo. I think this hotel is more suited for the business traveller rather than the tourist/shopper. Location wise not much of a problem due to Tokyo's extensive train system. Overall...

We stayed here for just one night on a last minute booking after our other hotel fell through. The hotel is in a great location and was easy to find. The service was very good but it seemed more suited to business people than travellers. Our room itself was on the 33rd floor and had a great view out onto...

The service and facilities at the Park Hotel are very good, but if you are a tourist the location is, maybe, 6/10 or even 7. Yes, the hotel is close to two rail stations - Shimbashi and Shiadome, but there is nothing better than stepping foot outside a hotel and absorbing the atmosphere of the location. This is sadly missing...

Thank you very much for staying with us at Park Hotel Tokyo. As you mentioned, Shimbashi area itself is a buisness area much than tourist area. We chose this Hotel for our 3 night pre cruise tour, It is well located above the Shiodome Subway, easy access to Shimbashi Station (about 7 Minute walk in Tunnel / shopping area and also close to stations on the new above ground Line. Once you work out the Metro system it makes for safe and easy transport. We also...

We only got to stay three nights on our Japanese tour with Tokyo the first stop. It's super location for transportation, whether JR lines or subway, make this a great hotel for a first timer to Tokyo (like us) to stay. We used it as a base and explored the city like crazy. The room was small but well appointed....

Location very close to subway/railway. Hotel lobby at 25th floor, makes every room have a spectacular view out of Tokyo, including nearby Tokyo Tower. Many many restaurants nearby Walking distance to Ginza makes it convenient for shopping. Fish market nearby, with several very good sushi restaurants.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
