The room is the worst of all Marriott brands that I stayed. I stay over 70 days per year in a hotel (mostly Marriott due to points/rewards) and this is the worst ever. Very old style, strange structure with a very small desk (no separate desk, stuck to one side of a wall where a big TV monitor just right...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for the time to share your recent experience at The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Autograph Collection. As you mentioned, our hotel is surrounded by Sakura tree and Japanese garden. Our hotel concept is an old style or resort like style a little bit. We are so sorry that this style was not much your...

Rooms were clean and spacious. The reception desk is also nice;A subtle scent of perfume,Japanese style indoor plants,A relaxed atmosphere and Porter. This hotel close to Shinagawa station. So it's very useful for tourist from Haneda airport. I spend a really nice New year's holiday.

The Prince Sakura Tower is one of the best Prince hotels I have ever stayed. The location, service, décor, room size, comfort level of the hotel as a whole is remarkable. Although Prince Gallery Tokyo Hotel, Kioicho is so-called the highest ranked Prince hotel in Tokyo, after staying in both in one vacation, I am convinced the Prince Sakura Tower...

Hotel rooms are generally small, but this hotel has bigger rooms. That was one of the reasons I came back for the second time. Not a lot choices for breakfast, but the qualities of the food provided were very good. I noticed the shop was closed and the hotel was building a lounge there - that was a piece of...

I stayed here for 4 nights from 6th to 10th January ( I am a Marriott Gold member). I arrived from Shinagawa station at about 11am and was fully expecting not to have a room available until mid afternoon but I was delighted to be told that it would be ready in 10-15minutes so I waited in the lobby and...

I stayed at The Prince Sakura Tower, Tokyo for 6 nights as part of a visit to Tokyo for business. It had been recommended to me by a colleague who mentioned that it was familiar enough to not freak you out. I had been apprehensive about visiting Tokyo, given my preconceived notions of it being all neon lights, lots of...

Hotel is like 10minutes walk from the Shinagawa train station which is a huge station. I saw the information that said this hotel has a famous spa. Me & my friend decided to try the relaxing oil massage and we so so so love it 10/10. The garden behind a hotel is beautiful.

Treated so nicely there. Facilities and rooms are clean. Amazing breakfast buffet is a must while visiting and also enjoyed the garden in the back of the hotel. Very close to the subway as well. Recommend very highly.

The Prince Sakura Tower Autograph Collection is very close to Shinagawa Station and is an option vs the Tokyo Marriott which is only 1KM (0.5 miles) away. But there are trade-offs in my mind between the two hotels. Getting There: From Narita Airport - I would never recommend a regular taxi from Narita Airport which could easily cost you $250...

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
