The room was not huge but it was perfect for one person. The bed and the pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel is close to Shinagawa Station which makes it very accessible and easy to get to on metro and from the airport. The internet conexion was fine, I had no issues with the internet.

Shinagawa Prince hotel has many wings. Based on reviews, I chose the Main Tower and booked a Standard Twin room and a Corner Twin room for my family. Corner twin room we had on the 20th floor of Main Tower had an excellent view; beds were comfortable; bathroom clean; room with aircon & heater option. On the other hand, we...

If you are to fly from the Haneda Airport, this hotel is very convenient. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel. So, it is convenient, too. I could see sunset and sunrise with Mt. Fuji from my room. They offer the rooms with reasonable price. I would stay there again.

I know that rooms in Tokyo are expensive but still.... From the outside, as well as the inside the hotel looks very good. Restaurants are also rich (up to 5 different options are available for breakfast: I recommend the top floor). However, when you enter the double bed room.... It's ultra small. The inside is clean no problem but very...

It is situated just a stone throw away from Shinagawa Train Station, there is regular direct train from Haneda airport to Shinagawa Train Station, this is really convenient for those who land or depart from Haneda airport. I stayed in Annex Tower for 3 nights, room wise is a typical Japanese size. Got a room that is facing the Tokyo...

Stayed in the main tower. Room is standard for a good nights sleep. Size of room may be small if you are used to North American standard, but size is average for Japan. Clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Good water pressure in the shower. Heated toilet seat! But windows do not open - can get a bit stuffy. Hotel location...

Very handy location close to local office and surrounded by many restaurants. I have stayed here many times (Annex Tower). Rooms are small, so small that the wardrobe handles retract to a flush finish....every inch of space is utilised. Morning breakfasts are a ritual of queues but the service is always efficient and fast....Tokyo is like Sydney....EXPENSIVE! The Annex is...

This is a huge hotel with several towers, many restaurants, and lots of entertainment options. I love that the staff at reception speaks decent English. Larger rooms are available if you pay a bit more. We paid around 14,000 Yen and were quite happy with the room and view from 31st floor. The customer service is tops and they were...

This is an average place to stay despite the effort the hotel puts into its hype. Facilities are fine (several restaurants, shops, gym, coffee shop), but pricey. Worth wandering around the area for dinner and Shinagawa stn over the road has a few decent cafes. Husband and I could not get a double even though we booked one. It was...

Review for 27th floor Corner Twin Pros: 1. Check in counter staff was very pleasant and welcoming from the perspective of a non-japanese speaking visitor. 2. Location is really convenient; located directly across the street from Shinagawa Station. If coming from Osaka via Shinkansen, its the first stop Tokyo side. 3. Limobus picks up at this hotel with transport to...

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
