I was a guest there for a few days. We mostly used the (small) conference rooms and the restaurants. The complex is amazing with everything at your fingertips. Massive pool, gym, bowling alleys, squash courts, etc...... There is a total of 5 restaurants serving american food. The food isn't very good.

I haven't been back here in a couple of years because it was under construction. WOW - is it beautiful! many restaurants to choose from… many amenities - very international group! Elegant lobby area…very open/spacious and comfortable - especially while in Tokyo it feels like you are NOT in Tokyo!

Yes its a nice building. Yes the accommodation rooms are lovely. Yes the staff are friendly enough. But seriously guys. Does your catering really have to live in American bubble, are your American guests really too scared to eat local cuisine ? Japan is a wonderful country with wonderful cuisine, you should really respect that and offer more of it...

I have been a member of the Tokyo American Club ("TAC") for 25 years, so my review is biased!! That said, this is the first opportunity my wife and I have had to stay in the Guest Studios. TAC has seven such studios, which are ideal for a couple -- spacious, clean, well appointed, well ventilated, and offering nice views....

We stayed at the Tokyo American Club with my 2 little kids in tow and totally recommend this to all families visiting Tokyo. The rooms are BIG by Tokyo standards and it comes with all the bell and whistles of any 4-5 star hotel. We also had a great view of the Tokyo Tower from our room balcony! Being a...

Tokyo American Club's guest studios are fantastic. Well serviced, well supplied and an excellent gym. The location is a bit far from a train station, but easy access by taxi to pretty much anyway. On a previous trip, the room we stayed in had a patio and nice view of Tokyo Tower which is very nice at night when illuminated.

The old Tokyo American Club (TAC) was torn down and rebuilt several years ago. 7 overnight rooms were incorporated into the new design. We were lucky to rent one for a week. The room was quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom shower was relaxing and efficient. A Toto toilet with all the bells and whistles (including...

If you have happy memories of staying here with your family, don't come back. It is all corporate and crazy security, and women not welcome in bars and they have to dress like they're going to church, a very conservative church. It is not the American club. I don't know what club it is, but seriously, no open toed shoes...

After reading the preposterous review from the disgruntled ex-member, we couldn't have been more delighted with the first-class service, quality food and range of bars and restaurants. An absolute pleasure from start to finish. Thanks to all the splendid staff.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
