Hotel is older. Smells of smoke in the lobby. Room was a good size but hot. The AC wasn't very strong. Even though my room was non-smoking, it still smelled like smoke at times. Think it was coming through the vents. Staff were helpful and kind. Subway stop about a 3 minute walk away. View of Tokyo Tower from my...

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and from start to finish we never had cause for complaint. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient in every respect. On the day it rained a member of staff was there with umbrellas which we took with us for the whole day and brought them back and handed them in....

Having stayed 3 nights in this hotel we only used it as a place to sleep. Hotel staff was friendly and correct. Rooms have all you need but might be small for big travelers. The bed is in a corner and was way too hard to my likings, leaving me with some sleeping complaints. Though the hotel could use a...

I arrived late and had some luggage issues and the staff where super helpful. The hotel is an easy walk to the Tokyo Tower and train stations. The lobby is old and in need of some updating. The rooms and are small - standard for Tokyo. I was a little disappointed that the room smelt of cigarette smoke and had...

This hotel is situated slightly away from the hustle and bustle. It's close to a train station and subway and is surrounded by small sushi restaurants, convenience stores and is a stones throw away from Tokyo Tower and temples! If you go in an off peak period the surrounding areas are surprisingly quiet. We went to Tokyo tower and the...

We had 4 nights here, whilst the price was good, it was quite old, and then beds were like sleeping on plank of wood. Very small, and the bathroom was extremely small. Location wise it was ok, but there wasn't a lot near it, such as restaurants etc. Personally I wouldn't stay there again. In saying that, the staff were...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
