The hotel is truly beautiful. Gorgeous Japanese-style room was one of the highlights of our stay in Japan. It felt luxurious. Would have given 5 stars except we had a couple of small issues: a giant cockroach in our room that freaked us out and disappeared into the closet, TV in the bathroom turned on once but wouldn't turn on...

To be in Tokyo, in a quite setting, having professional and most friendly service and very good food, makes this suite hotel a perfect choice. One may say it is not central Tokyo, but then again, it is only a $30 taxi ride away from Ginza or other central points. Pick an 8th floor suite if you can and ask...

Our recent visit to Meguro Gajoen was very special. The entire hotel is absolutely exquisite and seems to specialise in extravagant weddings. There are beautiful areas all throughout the hotel including waterfalls streams & gardens. The building with 100 steps is attached and you can visit this and an extensive display of Hina dolls at this time during the "Girls...

This hotel came highly recommended from our Japanese associates. We stayed for 2 days in Feb2017. The hardware of the Hotel is incomparable. Traditional architecture in style and a feast to the eyes for its IDs, ceiling arts, wall sculptures and layout and stile steeped in tradition. Main attraction of this property is its man made waterfall surrounded by a...

This is a wonderful hotel off the beaten path in Meguro, built in 1928 in the same tower complex as the headquarters of Amazon Japan. Here you will find continual exhibitions in the older part of the hotel, you will find a thatched roof restaurant, an outside small garden used for wedding photos, complete with a little carp stream, home...

The hotel hosts different special exhibitions in...

It's an incredibly pretty man made venue that the Japanese folk like to use for weddings, so if you get there in the afternoon you will see newly married couple queuing up to have their photo taken in the nice spots like next to the waterfalls. Not particularly exclusive, more like a wedding production line. Go in the morning and...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
