My stays at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo Hotel are always warm and comfortable. It is luxurious but the people are so warm and helpful. They always remember your faces and names which make M.O. a difference. The view there is extremely stunning and impressive.

We stayed at the Peninsula Tokyo on our last two trips here, but decided to try the MO this time round, having heard so much about it. The accolades are true - the customer service here is superlative. Peninsula service tends to be much more impersonal and perfunctory. There was almost always a queue at the Peninsula concierge desk which... More

Excellent customer service. Really excellent staff - although sometimes you need to tell them you're a hotel guest to get differentiated treatment from local visitors looking to use the amenities (i.e. the bar). Slightly aging facility, but great MO hospitality.

I am always a fan of Mandarin oriental. And of course, Mandarin Tokyo is one of my most favourite hotels of all time. The lobby reflects how the genuine lobby should be. The guest room is refined. The breakfast room is lovely and private. They serve the most scrumptious egg Benedict in the world! Gym is great. The staff and... More

I would like to start by saying that its a beautiful hotel with a good location. I just don't find it right that they still charge you for the internet in 2016 when is free internet almost everywhere. The room is big, with a nice view, the service is amazing. The only restaurant that we tried is Sushi Bar which... More

I have stayed at many 5-star hotels throughout the world, and the Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo ranks among the middle of the pack. The reception and service staff were top notch, however, the hotel was a bit dated, and the build quality was behind the times. The rooms weren't very quiet - footsteps could be heard on a daily (and nightly... More

Enjoyed my stay at the Mandarin, stayed a few days while traveling for business. The staff is very friendly, the room had an amazing view of the city and spacious. A little dust in my room had my allergies going. Other than that, the food was great, the location is quite central, and the facilities are exemplary.

Everything about the Mandarin Oriental is superb. We checked in after a long flight at 11.30pm, and yet a manager escorted us to our room and explained every facility offered by the hotel in a courteous and committed manner. The rooms offer gorgeous views over Tokyo, starting at around the 35th floor. The breakfast could not be faulted, nor the... More
