The good: 1) The location (heart of Ginza + easy access to Metro) 2) The Franco-Ukranian relationship manager who went out of his way to help us with transportation, gave us complimentary champagne and macaroons, checked in with us during breakfast. The bad: 1) Housekeeping didn't clear out old dishes and sheets from the day before (it lay where it...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 5 February 2017 via mobile

My wife and I stayed here during a visit to Tokyo last month. I kept hearing about tight hotel rooms in the city unless you paid the big bucks, so I was concerned. This hotel was just fantastic. Very easy to find if you're walking, as we were, from Tokyo Station after taking the NEX from Narita. About a 10...

My entire family (almost 10 of us) decided to celebrate my father's 60th birthday in Tokyo from the 16th-19th of May. 4 members of my family, including myself, are platinum members with LeClub Accor. We've had an otherwise great experience dealing with other Accor hotels, having celebrated my sister's wedding at the Sofitel L'Imperial in Mauritius, and have frequented other...

Stayed two nights, we had a deluxe twin, on the 6th floor. Spacious room and bathroom (step up into the bathroom). Complimentary toiletries, bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities. We paid extra for buffet breakfast which had small hot western selection and good continental choices, fresh bread rolls, pastries etc. It also doubles up as a French restaurant in...

Choose this hotel again as it is centrally located in Ginza and close to metro stations. Lawson is close by and this provides your basic needs while in Tokyo. Brought my family this time round and they enjoyed their stay there as well. Check in was smooth and straight forward being an Accorplus Platinum member. Room upgraded as usual. We...

Clearly value for money hotel, considering prices you can pay in Tokyo. Location could not better. In the middle of Ginza, full of places to walk around, shops, restaurants and bars. Walking distance from Princess Park. Room pretty clean and decent size (for Tokyo standards!) and a simple but good quality breakfast. As said, value for money!

Location is simply perfect but the hotel has this old feeling of the 80's. Expect nothing much. Rated as 4 stars but not worth more than 3. Bathrooms are old fashioned, you hardly see anyone from the hotel except upon check in and check out (are we disturbing them??). Room was not properly ready when I arrived even though I...

Neighbourhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

Our Hotel is in Ginza, the Heart of Tokyo. The Location is perfect for business guest heading to Tokyo Big Sight around 15 minutes by taxi or the International Forum in 10 minutes walking distance or leisure travelers looking for a perfect located place to stay. For the Time beside the business we are perfectly located near the Ginza Dori and Harumi Dori shopping streets as well as the Kabuki Theater. Ginza is famous but less crowed then other areas, Ginza Dori as the luxury branded shopping street nearby and the quite area we have, makes Ginza to the best area after a long exploring day in Tokyo. We are in such a colorful and impulsive Area, were you have so many different kinds of people, many cozy, really tasty, high qualitied restaurants and Cafe Shops around the Hotel. These places are the best opportunity to start or end your day in a quiet, peaceful surrounding with a relaxing flair. Right under the Hotel, within the Building, we have Ginza-Itchome Station, served by Yurakucho Metro Line, heading to Tokyo Disney Land or the Sunshine City in Ikebukero. Furthermore, it’s a really short but nice walk to Higashi-Ginza Station and the Ginza Station itself, sometimes you don’t want to go in the underground because of the awesome window decoration of Louis Vuitton or a funny attraction driving on the Ginza Dori. The walk to JR Yurakucho Station is also fascinating because of all the beautiful shops and building you passing till you reach the Station where the JR Yamanote Loop takes you to all the must see parts of Tokyo in the shortest time. From Shibuya Crossing, famous for the huge crowed crossing at the same time over Harajuku, where the colorful Lifestyle meets the peaceful and historical Yoyogi Park and Meiji Shrine to Shinjuku Area, with the skyscrapers district and the government building, from where you could see Mount Fuji on a clear day. The Mercure Tokyo Ginza offers a distinctive French flair and state-of-the-art technology, our French Chef let you escape to the paradise with his French creations combined with one of our imported well-balanced wine from France.
