This place is kind of disgusting and I loved it. Each floor is basically a big room with a load of bunk beds covered in cheap beige plastic with curtains on. The inside of your 'capsule' is decked out with all of the mod cons you could need in the 80s and may or may not be held together with...

I had a good night's sleep, was able to leave my large suitcase at reception and have them call me a taxi for the next morning, and used the WiFi which is available in the communal spaces. Much more facilities than I expected for a capsule hotel, would have been better if the whole place didn't have an odd smell...

The location was good. However the condition of the capsule hotel was just...bad. The toilet was shared and it was kind of gross. The place felt very outdated. There was a smell like a dusty stale kind of smell.

We thought we should try this just for the experience. Luckily for us the place was empty so we did not have to worry about being noisy. Fun just to try once. The place is clean enough, a bit like a backpacker stop over. You get a locker, capsule bed, tv, power outlets, towels, slippers and a gown.

Worst place I stayed in Japan and in the world. This place is horrible. It is crammed full of junk and clutter. It is old, very out dated and the worst bit - filthy dirty. Just because it is cheap and central is not a reason the overlook the grime and clutter. I found it hard to find. I was...

The location and fact it's a capsule experience are the only good things about this place. My advice would be to stay somewhere else, just because a place is cheap doesn't mean you should stay there, Toilets are awful, rooms are noisy, everything is old. Avoid is my advice.

Very cheap place to stay in. Do not expect much from it. It's just a place to sleep one or two nights, not more. The location is perfect for visiting Tokyo in general. Wifi works only in the lobby and there are specific hours for boys and for girls to use the bathroom, not good if you are in a...

Price is low, don't expect much from this place. Location is good, walking distance from the Tokyo station and just a stone throw away from ginza. Good place to stay if you just want to visit the tsukiji auction at 4am, about 20 minutes walk (or 1 train stop away). Bathroom is shared - men and women each have a...

Neighbourhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic.
