Fantastic location close to the main train station. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Views over Tokyo were fantastic and due to jet lag was fortunate to enjoy the sun rising over Tokyo bay from the hotel window. Bar/restaurant very clean and good food. Quiet and great for the weary traveler.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in July for holiday. Since the hotel is at Tokyo station, we just have to ride on Narita Express to reach there from Narita airport. Hotel was renovated a couple of years ago, but it gave the feeling as if they have renovated yesterday. Everything was well kept. Also,...

The location is great. The room is not very big but it match the standard of Japanese hotels. The hotel staff is friendly and willing to help their customers.

I like this for the proximity to the train station and everything else in central Tokyo. I think it is a nice place to get away from the noises of the city as it is the top floors of a high rise so it is quiet. I recommend this place to anyone who is willing to spend a little more

You cannot beat this location for convenience. It is adjacent to the Tokyo JR station and to several subway lines. There are scores of places to eat, all kinds of shopping and it is an easy half mile walk to the Imperial Palace if you want to escape the urban environment for an hour! The rooms are small but very...

Really good location, serviceminded and accommodating staffs that spoke English! Breakfast was a bit pricey (it was not included in our room price) and as for the western style buffet it's not near anything like in Europe or the us (which goes for the whole of Asia I guess). In addition sometimes during the mornings there are a line-up, even...

Ideal location (beside TOkyo Station). Stayed in two hotels in the Marunouchi districk within the same week, so as to compare. The only advantages the Metropolitan has over the RYumeikan are a better-looking reception area and an outside view from the room. Service is polite but not warm; the small room can have a better ergonomic lay-out. Note to those...

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:"Marunouchi Metropolitan Hotel" and "Marunouchi Hotel "are two different hotels but very close to each other.Don't make a mistake !!!!(personal experience) First, the location is excellent. This hotel is above the Tokyo Station. To be honest,it 's not exaggerated to describe Tokyo station as a maze.Though it's still a small distance walk (5 minutes)after you get of from subway or Narita...

Rooms are clean, on the small side, but with a great view over Tokyo. The location is really the reason to stay here though, especially great if you've just got off a long flight, as the Narita express airport train arrives into Tokyo station, and this is only a few step from the Nihonbashi exit. However, we were surprised that...

The hotel has a great location, adjacent to Tokyo Station and its numerous restaurants and shops. This proximity is a major plus if travelling with teenagers on their first trip to Japan as the array of restaurants facilitates the introduction of Japanese food and its amazing variety. Also being so close to the station means everyone masters the JR/Subway system...
