The new Otani Garden Tower hotel is a typical well managed business hotel. For Tokyo perspectives the rooms are really huge, furniture design is rather old and could do refresh, but rooms are clean and tidy. Hotel features several restaurants and bars which are even for Tokyo style rather overpriced. Breakfast at tower restaurant might feature view on Mount Fuji...

This hotel has the best service. From the time we stepped off the shuttle staff was there to assist with luggage and to direct you to registration. Every staff I met was very professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, in walking distance to two subway lines, stores, restaurants and Sophia University. The area is scenic...

I organized a conference at this hotel. Property was nice, but not outstanding or memorable. Staff and service was quite positive and at times outstanding. However, the facilities were just good with little to make it stand out, certainly a surprise based on the $$$$ we were spending in this location. the accommodations were roomy and comfortable as one would...

I always stay in the New Otani hotel when I am visiting Tokyo for business. The hotel is close to the Ginza and Marunouchi subway lines in Tokyo and also close to the Akasaka district with many restaurants and shops. The hotel itself has an excellent service and some nices places to have dinner with your business guest. Our company...

We booked a family room - two interconnecting rooms with accessible door. Great for our big family as we have 2 bathrooms to use in the morning rush. The Japanese garden is gorgeous, I bet it looks even more beautiful during spring and autumn. The garden tower is very near to 2 subway stations with 4/5 lines, very convenient location....

I've stayed here before and will stay again due to the location, friendly staff and large rooms. We had to move rooms as the first room had a smoking smell but within an hour we had a room which was much better and a view of Mount Fuji. All the staff are very welcoming and the grounds are immaculate. Close...

Excellently located hotel, very easy to get around Tokyo from the metro station which is a 2 minute walk away. Staff were all exceptionally helpful too! If I had to pick a fault, I'd say I've found better gym facilities in similarly priced hotels. Just a couple of treadmills and a mat.

The Hotel New Otani had been one of the Top 3 luxury hotels, with Imperial Hotel and Hotel Okura, in Tokyo until 1980's. Then, many luxury hotels of international brands have been built in Tokyo. However, still many National Guests and Royal Families from around the world stay at this hotel, and everytime I stay here, I also enjoy the...

Our room in the garden hotel would imperatively need a renovation. The bathroom did not deserve a single star. Room service was lousy. They made up the room just when we returned from our trip at 6 p.m. and we had to wait for 30 minutes before we could enter. The breakfast, restaurant and bar are wickedly expensive. The positive...

Great hospitality, wonderful internet and fine location. Don't miss breakfast at the 40th floor - especially on a clear weather , you can see the Fuji mountain and a gorgeous view of the city from the rooftop
