For anyone with discerning taste and an eye for the unexpected, but who also values (boring) creature comforts, this hotel is surely journey's end. The building, around 300 years old, looks like the set for a gothic movie. And it's every bit as good inside. Stuffed full of the artwork of the proprietor, and historic photographs and artefacts celebrating the...

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rose. It is a charming place, not particularly modern, but very comfortable and welcoming. I would describe it as more like a guest house than a hotel. We stayed in the room with adjoining bedrooms. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and we had enough...

Very good position, beautiful rooms and garden. The breakfast...... is amazing!!! it's possible to use bicycle, The family that runs the hotel is fabulous, they are very kind polite and friendly and open to give nice suggestions for a tour around the area. ~5 mins driving distance from mont saint michel shuttle bus stops. We stayed here 1 night only and were given a loft room which was clean and a good size but a little tired in it's decor. The view fro the skylight was super across the inlet from the sea alongside a well kept path. The setting of this hotel is excellent and we walked to the bus station (free bus...

Well, this a very special place run by a family. We slept in a cabin and could park our car right beside it. There were lots of toys for the kids. Breakfast was spectacular, amazing, one of the best ever. The owner were happy to recommend different ways of going to Mont Saint Michel or other places off the beaten...

Hotel Rose is a charming guest house providing lovely hotel rooms as well as bungalows, both located in a nice garden. Many are the "beauties" of this place. First and foremost, the owners are extremely kind and helpful. Second, the rooms are spacious, clean, luminous and situated along a river that eventually ends at Mont Saint-Michel. Third, the location is...

My partner and I chose to pay a bit more and book a pod rather than a hotel room for our night stay. We were very happy to have made that choice as this was a bit more quirky than a room! The pods are very rustic and hand made but full of charm. They are simply furnished and all...

thank you for your kindness, we keep a good memory too. We want to clarify that the bay of Mont Saint Michel can have periods of mosquitoes, usually late in the season, in September or October. We have available products if visitors require. Fortunately, those times are rare, typically in wet period

The place is kind of like camping. The bungalows are made of thin plywood and are green roofed with long grasses. The beds inside are very basic-- blankets, no bedspreads etc... But I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The doors to all the bungalows spill onto a large shared garden area. The area is filled w kids toys. We...

we are very happy for your good stay. Sure we love the simple and comfortable things in which you feel good. It is important for a traveler to relax. The bedspreads are often heavy and cumbersome, we prefer the fresh colors of our blankets. We want to clarify: dogs are allowed only in small season for safety reasons, and it...

We stayed here for one night at the end of September so we could visit Mont St Michel outside of "peak" tourist hours (approx 11am-4pm, when bus load after bus load of tourists descend on the tiny island!). Beauvoir is a few km away from Mont St Michel; the hotel is very easy to find, on the right side of...

This hotel is run by a family which have put in temporary sheds in their garden and passed them off as rooms. The rooms are very average with poor quality of furniture as well as interiors. There is also a club nearby where there is a live band that makes sure that you cannot have a peaceful sleep at night....

you have come on a feast day, and that day was a concert given in the street. Happy or unhappy, depending on the desires and tastes. Obviously, these are not yours. I can not accept what you say about our cottages, which are in the opinion of all the rooms full of charm and comfortable. Your opinion is excessive, it...
