Accommodation was clean and tidy as was the whole site. Friendly staff and on the whole very helpful. Excellent swimming pools both indoor and outside and good changing rooms. We booked a massage which was good value and very relaxing.

We went to Sandy Balls for 4 nights. It was a break in visiting relatives. We enjoyed it a lot! We ate once at The Woodside Inn. 3 members of my family are vegetarian and we all had different meals. I had the vegetable curry which was on the specials menu. It was nice. My brother had macaroni cheese (from...

They say their pool is open to local residents, but this is the most unfriendly pool I've ever been to. Even in the winter when the pool is slow, they still have strict rules about when you are allowed to start your swim and how long you can stay. They insist the pool room only be entered in a certain...

Lodge lovely for family four but using the sofa bed did restrict our party who had to stay in bedrooms until sofa sleeper arose. Hot tub was a nice extra. Weather could have been kinder but apart from that, which is out of Sandy Balls control, the park has good facilities. Teen boys did complain that possibly some local kids...

Caravan was spotless. Plenty of space for all. Staff couldn't do enough for you, all were absolutely lovely. Kids enjoyed evening entertainment. Loved the campfires with marshmallows in village square. Kids enjoyed nerf wars and archery. Went on bike ride but be aware that they are much longer and more difficult than you might anticipate especially if you are going...

Well maintained holiday village, accomadation of all kinds. Very good camping facilities for caravans and motorhomes. Restaurant, bar, shop all well managed and welcoming. New Forest on the doorstep for walking and driving, great pub at Godshill within 10 walk either on main road or back trail from Sandy Balls.

I love our yearly trip here. We usually come in January and our lodge is nice and snug, just a shame that the British weather was so against us on this occasion. Would like to try a different time in the year to make the most of the forest

My wife and I found ourselves at Sandy Balls in Hampshire last weekend as part of a runners training camp. Maybe this shouldn't be classed as a relaxing break (!) but we really enjoyed using SB as a base. The lodge we shared with 4 others was really comfortable with all the facilities that we needed. The lodge had a...

Beautiful settings and good accommodation. This is our 5th visit to Sandy Balls. We have been coming here since the children were little....they are now 18 and 16 and still love it!! Every time we have visited we have either seen deer, ducks, swans, squirrels or awoken to the sound of owls! The accommodation is very clean and well maintained....
