We stayed one night and felt immediately welcome.Jean is a lovely warm lady and the cottage is so homely and has everything you need. She recommended the Peacock pub 5 minutes walk away, take a torch as no street lights! We had a superb meal there, very busy but we had excellent service. Lovely bedrooms and we had delicious breakfast in her dining...

If you want to stay in a REAL 400 year old, Grade II listed home - this HAS to be a wonderful choice. The owner Jean does her utmost to ensure you enjoy your stay in her home - and the local surrounding area. Home-cooked breakfasts are 'real' and with good ingredients and choices. Good local restaurants - especially the...

What a welcoming place to stay. The house is full of quirky historical details but really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with locally grown produce and we were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. A real hidden gem!

If you ever dream of a 400 year old cottage and perfect hospitality, this is the place. Jean made us feel so welcome. We had two rooms on the upper floor, with comfy bed, wooden beams and a view to the thatched roof cottage across the street. Superb breakfast cooked to order with fresh produce. Highly recommended.

Faultless stay. Stayed for a long weekend so myself and my partner could visit the nearby Warner Bros Studio Tour, and then spent the rest of the time exploring the beautiful Chilterns area. Jean is the perfect host, room lovely, bed very comfortable, you have your own bathroom, the house is lovely and full of character. A perfect place to...

I had my dog with me and was allowed full use of her beautiful garden . The peacock pub down the road was a fab dinner and again very welcoming. The room I stayed in...

We stayed here in June for 2 nights as we were going to a wedding. Jean and Trevor are lovely hosts, very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. There was plenty to eat at breakfast, we would definitely stay here again.

Many thanks to Jean and Trevor for the warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyable (unfortunately only one night) stay. Location, house, room and breakfast were all superb and our walking boots were nice and dry in the morning!

Many thanks to Jean for a short but delightful stay over last weekend. Unfortunately we had to cut it short because of family reasons but I have no hesitation in recommending Manor Farm for bed and breakfast. Excellent hostess, superb breakfast and a lovely property.
