Stayed 4 nights in Hokkaido, 3 nights at two other hotels and the last night at the Hotel Daiheigen because it was a good place to stop on our way back to the airport.

The hotel staff wasn't helpful. I arrived hotel at 5 pm and was told my buffet dinner was 7 or 7:30pm only. I told the staff that I came here is for the ice festival and asked possibly to have the earliest dinner time like...More
Hotel is not bad. Onsen is big, got outdoor and indoor. Room toilet is very small but basically you will go onsen there to do all the washing. Hotel dinner and breakfast buffet is average. Room is tatami style
Great room and onsen. Close to the park and was able to walk to it and to the river. Food excellent. Easy to overeat. Had to request the laying of the bedding. Guess they forgot. Hotel never told us that there is a free shuttle...More
A nice resort with Japanese tatami rooms. Nice onsen with an outdoor bath (rotenburo). Great breakfast buffet in a large room to accommodate tour groups. A ramen shop opens 9 at night. WI-FI in the lobby only.
