Fantastic hotel, although it won't cost you your average £ for a cheap week away in the Canary Islands! Very much luxury end of the market. Great restaurants, private beach and a really good kids club with lots of activities, my 5 year old son loved it and made lots of friends. We went the week before Christmas and had...

This was our first visit to Tenerife but definitely not our last. We loved the resort, wonderful accommodation, great food and the most wonderful service from a team of friendly, charming and efficient staff. Great facilities for adults only but also wonderful for families with children. Many restaurants to choose from all serving great food, choice of many swimming pools...

Returned for second year, great for Easter sun although a lot of cloud this year. We were travelling without kids so recommend definitely select a villa and use adult pool, otherwise it's overrun with families and young children at this time of year. Beach and beach restaurant a little disappointing considering 5 star hotel. On site restaurants very expensive, however...

OK so to begin I have to say that I don't like large hotels and I don't like golf! So with these prejudices in mind I am surprised to say that actually I really quite liked the Ritz-Carlton Abama! We travelled as a couple with a 9 month old baby, looking for some sun and warmth and a few days...

We spend wonderful week in Ritz Carlton .The room which we chose was just enough for two of us and two kids . The frist night we arrived too late to have our dinner in the restaurants before 9:30 pm.Hotel offered us room service free of chargé so that we could take a rest with kids and eat there .It...

The hotel is nicely located, the rooms are stylish and all facilities are well maintained, however, what is missing to make this a hotel that lives up to the expectations that people like us have of a Ritz-Carlton hotel is responsiveness to customer concerns raised. The issue of neglected and malnutritioned stray cats begging for food on the hotel premises...

Ok- so its the week before Easter and the hotel is sold out Sun beds all reserved by 930am , a waiting list for umbrellas as insufficient shade to go around in the strong spring sun- made for a stressful start to each day - the hotel was aware of the challenge and tried to restrict people reserving beds but...

We spent some days at the high-class Ritz-Carlton Abama in March. The place is perfectly maintained and a quiet sanctuary, however there are stray cats that beg for food at the restaurants, they seem to be badly neglected, mistreated, starved or perhaps even poisoned. The hotel management turns a blind eye, even after guests had repeatedly asked to feed them...

We enjoyed our recent trip but probably wont return because The Abama is overrun with pre-school and primary age children. They are everywhere and in all the restaurants until late. Mercifully we had booked rooms in the garden villas and the villa pool is much quieter (and smaller) than the main pool which worked well. Breakfast in the main hotel...

Just returned from a week family holiday. Great resort hotel. 5 star but not 5 star wow ! Lots of food choices but very expensive. Kids club ok but not always inclusive of all the kids. Somewhat chaotic at times. Great short haul family hotel. Worth visiting Jamon Jamon at San Juan which is a 5 minute drive for a...
