Arrived after a long drive to find this little gem in a lovely rural setting. Cath and Brad were great hosts, a beautiful lodge with a small but cosy bar area with fireplace to relax. A lovely common lounge area to meet other travellers. Our room was spacious, clean and inviting. We had a wonderful dinner and the best breakfast...

Stayed 1night bed and breakfast here, very clean room, lovely bathroom and staff friendly, we were offered tea on arrival served with banana bread. We had an evening meal which was home cooked and the menu had a lot of choice. After a good nights sleep the breakfast was very good , I can recommend the eggs benedict. The owners...

We had the ground floor room which was large with a huge ensuite which has a bath and separate shower cabinet. The breakfast was superb and lasted us all day. We will stay here again when we need to break another journey to Scotland. The location was within 3 miles of the motorway and although located on a busy road,...

Stayed for one night with my husband, son and parents-in-law and we all felt it was exceptional value for money. We had dinner on our day of arrival which was lovely; home-cooked food. We all also had a cooked breakfast which was delicious; high quality ingredients and served promptly by a lovely, smiley waitress. Our rooms were clean and comfortable...

From the Host to the rooms and great food there was nothing I could fault with this establishment. Even though we were on the main road and...

I was in Carlisle to attend a seminar today and stayed last night at the Park Broom Lodge principally because it was close to the venue for the seminar BUT also because the reviews on trip advisor were very positive and persuasive. I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed. I only made the reservation on Saturday and...
