This is a great spot for a weekend away. We had two rooms overlooking the sea which were both small but bright and airy and very close to the sea. The bathroom in one room was extremely small but this wasn't a big issue for us. The breakfast was delicious. Fruit, cereals and juices were self service and options from...

Stayed here for one night in August, should have stayed longer. Parking on site. Bar, restaurants, on the sea front. Great rooms. Bright. Clean, airy. Fabulous scenery. Good breakfast. Lots of stairs to climb if you are on top floor! Lacking plug sockets in our attic room but we managed. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay in the Strand. Quirky little place, right on the beach with great views. Staff work hard but make it look effortless. Manager very nice man and attentive to clientele. Good food and good bar music. Will definitely return. Thank you.

We go to Dunmore East every few years and always stay here. The location is perfect right on the beach and the restaurant is very good. It is a relaxed place with friendly staff. The decor could do with an update but it is clean and bright with many rooms having a lovely sea view. We love it.

Stayed here a twice and I absolutely love it.. The food in the bar is always on point, really scrumptious & reasonably priced. The rooms are very basic a tad obscure but extremely comfortable. Both times I stayed in this hotel I let the curtains open to see the sun rise over the sea & illuminate my room, so beautiful!...

On Friday last my friend ando I ordered 2 glasses of house Rose wine at lunchtime during the annual bluegrass festival, when we went to pay our bill we were charged €17 for 2 very small glasses of wine. Very disappointed with this, it was only house wine, on further questioning as to how much a bottle would cost, we...

Stopped by for a drink during the Blue Grass festival. Love the location of the strand Inn, over looking the Beach. Really large outdoor seating area with great views while listening to music, food served even though we didn't order. We will return again.

The Strand Inn is in a wonderful location in the beautiful town of Dunmore East. It's a cozy place with a lovely bar, and dining room looking out over the sea. Just below it is a lovely little sandy alcove so it is ideal place to stay or visit. We visited for a short while on a sunny afternoon and...

We had a family lunch at the Strand Inn eating beef burgers and a rich tomato soup. Great location on the beach and very pretty surroundings. The food was good but nothing gourmet'ish or very fancy. Solid and holesome food I would describe it as.
