Perhaps many years ago this resort was a splendid retreat. Today, however, it is run down and lacking many of the amenities of similar so called resorts. The rooms are acceptable for an eco lodge, though no air conditioning or tv and very noisy fans. The food is good and the service as well. But the cost is far too...

This place HAD great reputation, unfortunately seems like time has taken a toll on this facility, everything looks dated, in the rooms the smell it's not pleasant at all!! even though they were fairly clean! Food is good, and the waiting staff are very nice, however I feel we paid too much money for what the place is worth Wouldn't...

I went with my family on Soul's Day, the experience we had at the resort was very bad, I would not recommend to stay at the hotel not even just the one day package. The main aspects on behalf the bad experience were: - Old facilities - Expensive food - Bad attention - Not personal available when needed - There...

My family and I booked a two-night stay at Arasha due to a previous positive experience my sisters had had (years ago). Boy were we disappointed. It is shameful that for the premium price Arasha charges, everything would be so mediocre. Some of the highlights: - The restaurant is god-awful and expensive. Instead of luring people back with great food,...

Located a couple of hours from Quito, within the rain forest you can find this spa and resort that was nothing like I expected. The facilities are excellent, specially the spa. A tropical setting, given that the area has year round rainfall, however, the temperature is very warm. The pools are also heated and there are complimentary umbrellas outside every...

Beautiful place, the vegetation is amazing, waking up to the sounds of nature and surrounded by fog was a great way to start the day. The hotel bungalos are very spacious and clean, staff is very hospitable. Food in the restaurant is good. The hotel offers various nature activities.

I went to Arashá for a weekend to celebrate my wedding anniversary. We needed a place away from the city where we could do different activities and rest. That is exactly what we got. We paid for the all inclusive package, which gave you 3 meals and use of all the facilities. I would recommend taking this package because food...

The hotel/location is beaufiful. It feels safe and the staff are very accomodating to requests. The landscaping is top rate and the food is good. The rooms need a complete make over - they seem dated and not to the level of the rest of the property.

No doubt about it, this hotel is beautiful. But there are some things that can be improved. The Pros: The hotel is fairly inexpensive, especially considering that some activities are included. The food is good. The included activities are pretty good and fun. We especially enjoyed the chocolate making, ring making, and night walk with torches. The staff is very...
