I stayed there two nights. Staff is hardly nice, not at all helpful. Kitchen is dirty and in poor condition. The same aply for bathroom just one for hostel guests. Plus: good location, swimming pool and hammocks everywhere.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Free wifi is available from the rooms which have aircon and a comfy beds. The Bach is a 5 minute walk or there is a pool at the hotel. The kitchen at the hotel offers amazing burritos and beer. Depending on what side of the hotel you...

Stayed here for 3 nights in a 4 share dorm which was clean and bright with comfy single beds and 2 fans. Shared bathroom. Nice pool area. Common area with kitchen nice but lots of mosquitoes at all times! 5 minute walk to beach. The day we were leaving we found the best pupuseria just up the road. If you...

Its rare when a hotel manages to get everything wrong. Even adjusting for El Salvador, a hotel that attempts to charge 85+ dollars a night and yet - Furnishes cheap mattresses and non-existent sheets - Does not provide a bathroom with hot water - One flourescent lightbulb in the room - Free access to all the neighboring locals to hang...

The rooms were on the small side but okay. A/C worked well. Bathroom was very good. It had only cold water, but I am told this is common in El Salvador. Breakfast in the hotel was good, well priced, but slow to be cooked. The bar / club next door plays load music till 1am. Good luck sleeping before this...

So this lodge was pretty good. I had a private room with 2 twin beds and air conditioning. The room was very very basic with stains on the walls and a cold shower, but having travelled throughout central america, I've grown used to this. I stayed one week here and my room didn't get cleaned even once. The pool was...

If you are going to El Tunco, this is the place to stay. It is amazing, very chilled vibes and right next to the shops and restaurants around a 2 minute walk away. Rooms are clean and their is aircon. Bathrooms are nice and spacious and very big showers with lukewarm water. I really enjoyed my time here. Great on...

Tunco lodge was very average, out of all the places we stayed in Central America it was ok, just ok. The location is good. We stayed in a private a/c double room with bathroom, the double bed was a small double so didn't feel like there was much space. The room wasn't serviced over our three night stay which meant...

Great place to stay while in El Tunco. Location is great, close to the main road with shops and restaurants that leads to the beach. Also located close to a few local hotspots for nightlight (may overhear music in outdoor community hours, but not from your room). The room and bathroom is very clean. Water gets pretty hot and air...

I was the Tunco Lodge for about 10 days and this is how I critique it: PROS: -rather close to the sea -competitive prices ($8 dollars per night in a 5 bed dorm) -swimming pool, ping pong table, hammocks and at least 3 lounging areas -common kitchen -pool table CONS: -limited connection to WiFi (signal does not reach the kitchen...
