The lodge is situated above the canyon where you have e beautiful view! There is plenty of space (indoor & outdoor) to relax. Rooms are nice and clean. Edmundo is very helpful and is organising the tours for you and gives great advice. Food is excellent, healty and there is plenty of it! So the price is quite ok, considering... More

I had a fantastic stay at the Black Sheep Inn Ecolodge in November 2016. From the delicious three course vegetarian dinner I shared with the other house guests (followed by a magic show and card games) to the directions for continuing my trek up to the Quilotoa crater lake to the to the incredible community atmosphere and beautiful location the... Had a great time at Black Sheep Inn. Edmundo and his team were great hosts. They recommended hikes that were amazing. Alfredo put on a great magic show! The room was comfortable and clean. We opted for the private room and bathroom. Hike to the room was in itself a feat, but the views were worth it. The vegetarian dinners... More

We spent two nights at the Black Sheep Inn high in the Andes near the Quilatoa Crater. The lodge was lovely and very welcoming, a place to relax and hike. The rooms were cozy and we had plenty of wood for fires to warm us in the evenings. The vegetarian food was excellent, complete with packed lunches to eat while... More

We spent two nights in BSI in dorm. Place is nice and well maintained but slightly overpriced compared to for example Llullu Llama mountain lodge in Isinlivi. Reason why we stayed in bsi was because of the highest frisbeegolfcourse in the world. Course was not maintained properly and we spent more time searching our discs than actually playing. Still the... More

We stayed at the Black Sheep Inn for two nights and enjoyed the familiar and cosy athmosphere there. The lodge is nicely embedded in the beautiful landscape with a stunning view over the valleys. The location is perfect for a number of fantastic hikes (make sure you adjust to the altitude before). Many thanks to Edmundo and his team for... More

We loved it! 4 nights, 3 days. If you can afford it take a cabin with private bathroom at the top of the hill. The climb up with jet lag and altitude, and the view will take your breath away. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable; including wood burning stove. There was a constantly changing cast of hikers and travellers,... More

We can't recommend this place enough and is well set up for anything you may wish to do in the local area - lots of hikes, quilotoa loop, cloud forest, horse riding etc. Plenty of info available to hand including print outs on site. We spent 3 nights here and could easily have done more. Lovely homely feel and lots... More

I stayed in a cabin with private bath and enclosed front porch. Very comfortable and spacious. The views are beautiful! This is a wonderful place for relaxing. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. Had a great massage! The surrounding area is some of the most beautiful I've seen in Ecuador.

We stayed in a nice townhouse style cabin. We had a shared compost toilet and nice outdoor shower. After staying the previous night up at the crater it was a big upgrade. I guess this part is where I tell you the food was average, we asked for a private massage and I think they forgot, $120/night for two people,... More
