Right from organizing airport pickup, accommodation , safaris , food to drop everything was perfectly tailored as per my preferences.
I have travelled across various safari lodges in India and Africa , The bamboo forest safari lodge is one of the few places where you feel like home and world class service . The villas are spacious , two bathrooms is very thoughtful and luxurious , the artifacts and amenities in the room is far beyond 5 star hotels .The housekeeping team headed by Ramya does a great job and specially the turndown service is amazing ,you feel so good to see your room very well prepared before you are back from safaris . The outdoor garden is a perfect place to sip a coffe and read a book , with birds chirping around.The entire property looks green with bamboos and native tree species .
The naturalist team headed by Akshay and his teammates Rajesh , Sandesh & Venkatesh are very knowledgeable and passion towards their job . Spend time with naturalists in the evening to know more about wildlife and conservation . The naturalist team organizes presentation in the evening on various topics , I really learnt a lot of things about TADOBA and it’s wildlife . The naturalists are very knowledgeable about flora and fauna of the Reserve and their prediction about movement of wildlife specially tigers is amazing and you would definitely see tigers and other game.
The whole property located adjusent to a wide lake, packed with migratory birds, is totally lush green. Villas amidst are very spacious and meticulously furnished and decorated with paintings.
Ramya and her kitchen and service staff do a great job when it come to F & B Well spread buffet lunch and dinner are scrumptious, especially when enjoying it at lake side dining hall located at the deck .
I strongly recommend everyone to spend a night at their Alizanza camp to experience the real wilderness of wild. Their COCOON initiative is highly appreciable.
The lodge own 2 modified safari vehicle which are very comfortable and they also have 2 electric safari cars first of its kind in the country . I was fortunate to do safaris in electric car , it’s absolutely silent and zero disturbance to the animals
I strongly recommend to stay for 4 nights and do at least 6 safaris and spend some time in the lodge reading a book and spend some time at the deck overlooking the lake and sip a coffee on the gazebo overlooking the lake .

I stayed at the Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge with my family hoping to have relaxing holidays and to witness the amazing Flora and Fauna at the Tadoba National Park.
The first thing that caught my attention was the artistic designs and motifs that sets the resort apart from most places I have stayed at.
I absolutely loved the folk touch and the beautiful bamboo surrounding the resort makes it a phenomenal choice for a great holiday.
We were welcomed by the crew and was happy to have everything we need taken care of proactively even before checking in.
The hospitality was world class and the services were extraordinary. The menu was very well thought and Ramya was quite mindful about our diet, spice level and needs. The food was absolutely tasty and hygienic. The service stuff were super helpful and friendly.
Ramya was extremely helpful with other suggestions as well and services of the resort like spa, we could use and enjoy. Her little son was a little master naturalist we enjoyed spending time with. They also went to safaris with us.
Akshay, Sandesh, Rajesh and Venkatesh made us feel comfortable and guided us with all information needed. They were mindful and pro active of every need from packing breakfast, snacks for safaris to giving us wakeup calls before safaris, bringing blankets for morning drives and also provided us with ponchos during rains.
Naturalists Akshay and Sandesh led our safaris and we were extremely overwhelmed by the wild encounters at the National Park including the rare Black Panther, Tiger Matkasur, Tigresses Maya and Junabaai along with a cub. We also saw two Leopards, pack of wild dogs, Nilgai, langurs, wild boar, sambar deer, mongoose, spotted deer, jungle fowl and some rare birds as well.
It was a dream come true for our family to have witnessed such rare wildlife and all thanks to the naturalists for the amazing job with spotting and guiding us to the right places.
The stay at Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge exceeded our expectations and will always be a memorable experience.
Special thanks to the BFSL crew for treating us like your family and the state of the art hospitality. Definitely, will be back soon before Junabaai's cubs grow up. 😆

We had an incredibly amazing experience at this resort. From the rooms to the food and down to the service everything was outstanding! The room were very neat and tidied on a regular basis. The staff also left personalized printed notes on the beds sometimes about the weather and different quotes which we found so unique and sublime. The overall ambience was so refreshing and peaceful. The food was delicious and delivered to the highest standards. Kudos to the amazing chefs. Visited the bamboo forest with family, everything from the booking to information sharing during the booking to booking the safaris 120 days before the planned safari dates, was on point, professional yet warm and welcoming. The villa rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable after a long day of tiger spotting. Bathrooms were large and the additional powder bathroom was extremely convenient as our family of 4 was sharing the villa. The team at the hotel were always available to help with special dietary requirements of our group, to customising the packed breakfast for our safaris, and planing the safaris and share interesting information about tadoba and the wild life in the area. The team are very passionate about safaris and wildlife and it really shows in all interactions. The team is really what makes the whole experience very special. Had been with friends to this wonderful resort. Safari experience cannot get any better. We had some excellent sightings of Tigers, both in the Core and Buffer zones. It was wonderfully organized by Akshay Kumar and his team (Akshay himself is a wildlife photographer) Every smallest detail for serious photographers is taken care of. Tadoba forest can get very dusty, particularly during wintertime. Bean bags, blankets to cover equipment, dusting of camera bags…..
The rooms are very spacious and well luxurious. Room service and Ramya and her team, were overwhelmingly hospitable. The buffet set up is delightful and equally delicious. Every possible effort is made to accommodate special requirement. Ramya had organized for some lip-smacking sambhar and porial!!

What is most important in these times is to stay positive, care for each other and relish every moment of life. Akshay, Ramya and their team at The Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge will demonstrate these and will go out of their way to make your holiday a dream.
The lodge is well sanitised and cleaned several times a day (as per the comfort of the guest), food cooked in accordance to the preference of the guest (They made sure I was eating local cuisine without burning my taste buds because of chilly 😋) and you experience comforts even beyond what you get at home (especially when you are running around to make it on time to your safari, clean the lens of your camera and juggling with curious friends waiting to know about Maya, the tigress). The lodge is located near the Kolara Gate (in Chimur taluk, Chandrapur district), easily accessible through roads, has a rustic architecture of 23 cottages well equipped with all amenities and a cozy portico/sit out for each cottage (for those evening conversations or even listening to the birds chirp, owl hoot and frogs croak) The lodge also hosts several unique artefacts (Incase if you are looking for props for that perfect selfie) and is well decorated with beautiful Gond tribal art. Aside, it also has amenities like pool, gym, coffee room and an open mezzanine for a steaming cup of tea/coffee overlooking a sunrise/sunset on the Maasal River.
A shout out to Akshay who was a constant throughout the safaris, explaining each nook and corner of the forest and species hosted within, ensuring the guest don’t miss their breakfast midst of Mother Nature and most important, not just catch a glimpse but have a full view of the Wildlife (I was luck to watch Kankazari, Junabai, Matkasur, Maya and her 4 cubs and a leopard in full view)
I also got to meet his little boy Agastya who accompanied on one of the safari and Whatta luck he brings. You are sure to sight the Tiger which otherwise will keep on eluding.
I’d urge people who plan to visit Tadoba for safari, holiday or just taking some time off from their busy routine, to stay at Bamboo Lodge and experience their dream vacation coming true.

BFSL is one of the finest and well managed wilderness stays I have experienced so far.
Firstly, they have pick up and drop facility from the airport which was quite convenient to reach the resort. A warm welcome was awaiting at the entrance by the team at check in.
They staff was extremely friendly with a smiling face and treated guests with utmost professionalism. Rooms were very clean and tidy with bright light and fresh air and everything you need.
The naturalists are knowledgeable and guided us well. We loved the fact that they have an eco ranger which is an electric safari vehicle for safaris.
We had a great time during our stay at BFSL. (Bamboo forest safari lodge, Tadoba). Delicious food, excellent hospitality as well the services were very proficient. Our stay couldn't be more luxurious.
All in all, the best safaris and a memorable stay of my life. Thank you so much...😍

The Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge is an extremely scenic and beautiful place with genuinely warm, friendly and extremely helpful people.
Venkatesh, the naturalist, came along with us on our safaris and he really brought the jungle to life with anecdotes about the tigers and facts about everything we saw. The experience was so much better because of him and his passion for the forest and its denizens.
The vehicles are spacious and have a canopy like top which kept the sun away during the middle of the day. The hotel also provides a hot breakfast while on safari which is a huge plus as you do get hungry towards mid-morning since you start pretty early in the day for the morning safari. They also supply warm blankets because it can get pretty cold at 6 am.
The next time we come, we would like to try their cabins on stilts where you can stay the night, hear the sounds of the jungle and see the tigers in the open field in front of it!

We a family of 3 stayed at Bamboo Forest recently and had a wonderful time.
The property is located at easy distance from kolara gate. The rooms are large and interiors are nicely done including the sit out which lets you laze in open area with privacy.
The food is excellent and staff go an extra mile to ensure your requirements are fulfilled.
The best part of Bamboo Forest is the team and everyone goes out of the way to ensure you have good time. Special shout out to Venki our Naturalist who proved lucky to us as we had tiger sighting every safari.
Tadoba is the best place to see tigers in India and Bamboo forest is the best place to stay.
