We had The Bolton Arms recommended to us and thought we would try it. We hadn't booked but they managed to squeese us in. There was a lovely cosy welcoming atmosphere and the staff were lovely. We ordered our starters, I had the black pudding and my husband had the pate. They were both delicious. For our main courses I...

This is a brilliant country village pub, excellent rooms, food, staff we both had a wonderful time. Thank you we will be back and highly recommend it. Sadly we only stayed for one night (as we were unsure what it would be like), but are planning on a longer stay next time. Both our evening meals were delicious but we're...

We stayed for 3 nights Monday to Thursday on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast break and the food was exceptional. The choice was extensive and the evening meal was 2 courses of your choice. There are 5 rooms and the 3 rooms on ground level are dog friendly. Having our little dog with us we had one of these rooms...

Booked the Bolton Arms at the last minute to make the most of the good weather. So glad we did. The accommodation was first class & the location was so peaceful and very pretty. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing. We ordered two fish main courses which were served with freshly cooked veg and new potatoes...

We have stayed at the Bolton Arms for a weekend break in Janaury for the last 3 years. This time we were joined by some family and friends. The welcome was as warm as ever and staff , particularly in the restaurant were great. One of our friends was celebrating a birthday and the kitchen had prepared a fantastic cake...

We stayed for a 3 night break to beat the New Year blues, the package is excellent value for money. The rooms are small but have everything needed, lots of storage for walking clothes, tray for muddy boots, coffee and tea making, good hot shower, toiletries and a lovely warm clean room. The rooms are just outside the pub which...

Booked here between Christmas and New Year 2016 as a base to explore nearby countryside. Its a great base and beautiful parts of North Yorkshire literally on the doorstep. Pleasant greeting and helpful bar staff throughout. Good range of real ales. Hearty and plentiful food. We ate here both nights and had breakfast. No issues with service. Only words of...

My friend and I went to North Yorkshire for some walking. The Hotel is wonderfully situated for Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle (which was shut when we got to it). The countryside is beautiful and we had a lovely stay in The Bolton Arms. The staff were very friendly and we were able to book into the restaurant for a...

We stayed here for a wedding at Bolton Castle. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and they were super helpful. The breakfast was really nice and they even specially got veggie sausages for me. The room was clean and warm with good facilities. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Yorkshire Dales!
