This lovely Hotel looks a bit out of place now surrounded by suburbia but the place itself was excellent.Has been upgraded and has all mod cons.Attentive and helpful Staff and decent breakfast....good value. The only problem was that the Restaurant wasn"t open ,in fact a lot of places in Spain still close on Sundays but after wandering round for a while...

Residence with charme and character, private chapel for weddings and mass, staff helpful and friendly, clean rooms but somehow ordinaries and not very isolated, especially for the plumbing noises. Breakfast could be easily improved with fresh bakery, restaurant with good price/quality ratio, original and excellent food prepared by the Peruvian madame chef.

The only hotel we booked for our motorcycle trip to the Pyrenees and France, it is 20 mins from the hustle and bustle of Santander and as the ferry arrived early evening it was an ideal first stop... not easy to find but very worth while checking its location on google street map first... the owners even allowed us to...

This is a very original hotel in that it was once a noble's home and later a convent. A complete renovation was carried out and the rooms and public areas were decorated with impeccable taste. The staff is the best part of the hotel since they all seemed professional but yet very friendly. Our room was modern with an enormous...

Just as a nice a staff as can be imagined. A great courtyard for an after ride beer. Hardworking accommodating people working all hours in this little out of the way hotel. Special kudos to Anna who always had a smile and a kind word during our 4 day stay. Breakfast was basic but with better coffee than many Spanish...

Stayed here a couple nights while on a bike tour. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms good and tidy. Wifi good. Lovely large quiet garden courtyard to chillax in after a long day riding. Definitely recommended.

Good sized comfortable rooms. Nice bathrooms with powerful, hot shower. Public space nicely furnished and comfortable although not all that large. Restaurant was not open when we were there but the bar served a good range of light meals and snacks although the tables were small and geared up for twos rather than bigger groups. Lots of choice nearby though,...

Booked accommodation for first night arrival in Northern Spain on motorbike holiday. Short 15 minute journey from ferry terminal Santander. Hotel agreed despite no garage facilities for my bike to be parked in grounds. Hotel entrance gates are locked at midnight. The building is beautiful former palace of King of Aragon. There is a large modern tower block to side...

The Hotel itself is absolutely lovely, in a very old authentic building which has been very nicely renovated. The garden/courtyard area is fantastic and a very nice area to enjoy a drink or have breakfast in the sun. The rooms themselves are very nice, clean and modern with a good amount of space. They had a small flat screen TV,...

We stayed two nights mid-week, Nov. 20-21, at the Los Guardeses Hotel for a quick, off-season get-away. And we had a car and a dog. The reception, service and cleanliness were exemplary. We felt so welcome and so well looked after that we felt as though we were amongst friends, very professional friends. Maps, recommendations, directions were all available and...
