Hotel on the main road to durbanville, close to restaurants and shopping. My visit was short as I had business nearby. Happy to get an accomodation there in short notice. Small breakfast buffet, enough for the business traveller.

My husband & I stayed at Dark Chocolate Guest House for a weekend in November. The big ol' Durbanville house feels welcoming & homely on arrival, you feel as if you are arriving at a big family home for the holidays. That feeling continues when you meet Alma, she is such a lovely lady who made us feel right at...

I stayed at Dark Chocolate Guest House on a few occasions in the last few months (August - October 2016) for business. I found the rooms comfortable and clean, the hospitality of Alma & Dannie warm, helpful & accommodating (early breakfast...). I had dinners there as well, and it was always great. Thank you! will definitely stay here again.

Could not have chosen a more suitable Guest House for my 2 night stay in Durbanville. Secure on-premises parking, complimentary upgrade to fabulous room 6 that was 5*. I echo Wendy W's review - spot on! A big thank you to Alma and Danie for your incredible hospitality and no prizes for guessing where I'll be staying in future..

I was on business for a week in Cape Town, and the owners of Dark Chocolate are so hospitable, I really felt at home. They have three quiet well behaved cute little dogs which made my stay even more special. I was treated as part of the family, received yummy farmhouse breakfasts and wonderful home cooked meals for dinner. My...

I would suggest that you add a beverage to your dinner menu. I would also prefer clean towels daily and not every 2nd day.Other than that, it was home away from home. See comments in visitors register.

I am so sorry about the beverages. We normally do not serve food in the bedrooms and we are also not really equiped to do so. I guess by doing so specially for you on your demand I honestly forgot to add the beverage on the tray. My sincere apologies. I hope to have you back soon where your set...
