I just spent a week at the Abate Masseria with my husband and 2 young sons, ages 6 and 4. We went there based on good trip advisor reviews, and were not disappointed at all! For my sons, the highlight was the 2 soccer fields with "real goals" that we were able to use at all hours during the day,...

This is my second visit in 3 years. Fortunately the road signage to get to the hotel have improved as it is off the beaten track. The hotel is quiet, understated, elegant, tasteful and clean, laid out to insure privacy. The staff is fantastic - there when you need help but respect your privacy when you want. I was curious...

At Abate Masseria we were treated so well by everyone from the owners to the person cleaning the rooms. the young lady at the reception [Anna or Roseanna] and Meno [spelling] were all so helpful. The location, the surrounding area and the premisis themselves were nothing short...

We stayed for 4 nights early in October in a trulli suite which we got for a very reasonable rate as October is outside the main tourist season. The room was fine - lots of space as there was a second bedroom with twn beds. The swimming pool area is beautiful and peaceful (probably the most peaceful I have ever...

We stayed in a "suite" at Abate, which was a large, modified "trulli" - one of those wonderful, small, domed buildings that are scattered across the eastern region of Puglia. The room was beautifully decorated -- there was a sitting area, with sat TV, a second bedroom with bunkbeds (which would have been good for a family), a large comortable...
