We stayed two nights at la Capitelle in Mirmande and it was a highlight of our trip. Our room was built in the 16th century but was very charming and comfortable and had big windows opening onto a little stone balcony with expansive views of the countryside and mountains. We dined twice at the restaurant and the meal was superb...

From a very friendly welcome at this family hotel, English spoken, to departure our one-night stay was very enjoyable. Very comfortable and well-appointed room with superb views over the valley with excellent wifi. Dinner in a lovely vaulted dining room was very satisfactory followed by an outstanding breakfast - home-made yogurt demands 2nds - and assistance getting our large cases...

This is a classic hotel situated in a mediaeval village, perched high on a hillside, Great views, the proprietor/chef prepares great food . Both he and his wife are very personable and provide great service. They are both very helpful and amenable. In all we enjoyed our 2 night stay and would recommend it to travellers. The building dates back...

Beautiful location, views - let down by Poor quality hotel with nonchalant staff attitude. should you ever feel need to complain - suggest you don't bother as it does not register. Rooms dated - seventies decor - poorly planned - bathroom a death trap. my life slipped in bathroom due to leaking shower. Response from hotel - shrugging of shoulders...

My wife and I choose to stay at La Capitelle on a recommendation from a Rhone wine tour guide named Paul. We are very grateful for his direction..We only wished we could had done one of Paul’s tours. (He was booked) We found the walled ancient village of Mirmande to be romantic and charming. The new owners of La Capitelle...

This is a delightful hotel in the beautiful village of Mirmande. It is built into the ramparts of this perched village in the Drome and is full of charming original features and works of art by the artist who once lived there. The hotel changed hands at the beginning of the summer and the new owners couldn't be more welcoming...

The room was fine and comfortable. No tea/coffee making facilities but not an issue as only stayed for one night. Shower room good with toiletries provided, all very clean. Had an amazing meal in the restaurant, service great and veggie option provided with imagination and no problem, which has been an issue in France. Nice owners and attentive staff. Wish...

What a lovely experience! A delightful hotel in a lovely, quaint little hillside village! The village was a delight in itself and the hotel was very comfortable and pleasant. Our room was a good size and had a lovely outlook onto a little neighborhood terrace. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Disappointing that wifi was only available in public...

This hotel is full of quirky charm, perched high up in the village with amazing views from the rooms at the front and the terrace. Spacious room full of character with nice en suite. Bed hige and very comfortable and had a pretty decent nights sleep despite a 4 hour thunderstorm. The restaurant food is out of this world, best...

We arrived in Mirmande and were immediately charmed by this magnificent little village. We appreciated the setting of the hotel and had a very nice dinner at evening. But we were a little bit disappointed by the staff (owner?) at the reception and the cleanness of the room as well as the very small bathroom. A problem with my bed...
