Our second trip to Nambiti did not disappoint! We were sad not to have our previous guide Thamba who was on leave, however Lebo was equally fantastic! He was knowledgable, amusing and super competent as a guide. The food was delicious and our barman Alfie was incredibly knowledgable about wine. We collect wine and we’re super impressed with his insights. Sadly we cannot recommend the wine list we took our own and paid corkage but I believe the wine list is under review. (Let Alfie do it) Saw so much game and as always relaxing in our lodge has some incredible sightings at the waterhole. We cannot wait to return with the rest of our family in October. Thank you Cheetah Ridge
The Best Ever . Everyone made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for going the extra mile , without even asking . I recommend this for any couple to get away and just be treated in every way . You will be seeing us soon again. Thank You Cheetah Ridge Lodge
We just had an amazing four-night stay at Cheetah Ridge and didn’t want to leave. We had stayed there before, but this time we took another couple with us (their first visit to SA) and it was the absolute highlight of the three week trip. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive, the main building was beautifully decorated and well thought out, while the food was excellent. We did two game drives a day and our guide was very knowledgeable and a good spotter. We saw a wonderful variety of animals and birds. The highlight for me was a very close cheetah encounter. Our rooms were perfect - what a treat to soak in that wonderful bathtub and watch a giraffe on the other side of the waterhole. One night we sat around a fire pit in a private boma (enclosure) and enjoyed the starry sky. We will definitely go back!!…
The accommodation is outstanding. I particularly enjoyed bathing gazing at the sky. It’s a relatively small lodge which makes it relaxing and personal.? The staff are well trained and attentive Good food is offered and you are able to make a choice of meals. The bar man was knowledgeable and happy to advise on drinks. Our game guide was amazing. He helped us see great animals and taught us many interesting facts about the bush. The roads after the floods were tricky but he was a skilled driver so took us safely through the reserve The pool area is lovely and relaxing to while away time in the quiet . Main drawbacks are the watering hole is only visible from some rooms and not very busy with animal visitors. The bird hide is disappointing and a bit run down. This is however tiny considerations given the overall excellent service and great accommodation …
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cheetah Ridge. We cannot fault anything. Food, accommodation, staff, the entire experience was world class. Our guide Ryan Theys was magnificent and we saw 4 of the big five animals on multiple occasions, even on a single drive. We cannot wait to return
