This place is consistently excellent and now like coming home, from the deliciously comfortable beds and beautiful rooms, to the wonderful food and hospitality of Antoinette and Keith. There are so many places to visit and this time we visited the market in Esperaza and the Gorge de Galamus. The area has so much to offer and seeing it in...

We absolutely love this area and each time we visit we always stay at les Marguerites. It is a haven of peace and tranquility. Not only in its setting but also in the amazing space that both Antionette & Keith hold for you whilst you stay in their home. I always, always recommend this place to all of my friends...

Yet another visit to this sanctuary of peace, calm, tranquility, and excellence. Seldom do I find such a consistently good place to stay - the welcome from the family is always warm, the food excellent and the setting tranquil. They now do tea and home made cakes in the summer months - a tea garden; and, I am told, prepare...

On weekends during the summer Antoinette opens her peaceful garden for afternoon teas with delicious cakes. She is a lovely host and her fruit cake (based on her grandmother's recipe) is really moist. She can advise about the area and should you wish to stay she has beautiful bedrooms too.

Antoinette & Keith are the heart of this wonderfully restored 200-year old mansion, make no doubt about it! They are by far the warmest hosts you'll ever find. Thank you both for creating this warm, loving environment for us! Loved my room, loved the location, loved your family, loved your meals (both food & company!), loved all of it!! It...

We can't say enough about our stay at Les Marguerites. Our hosts Keith and Antoinette were helpful, gracious and friendly. We were offered a glass of wine upon arrival, which was most appreciated, since we had just finished a tour of Rennes-le-Chateau and Chateau Puivert. Our room facing the garden was a delight, large, and furnished with the most comfortable...

Keith and Antoinette are the perfect hosts. Friendly, attentive and a fountain of knowledge about the local area and all things French. They are also incredibly helpful if you want advice or recommendations (as we did) as to where to go next. The area is fabulous whether you want long drives in rugged mountainous terrain, spectacular gorges, amazing forests, castles...

A wonderful place recommended by a local. We were made very welcome with a garden English tea and scones (Devon style) and a glass of wine before we went out. Lovely rooms, well renovated. Lovely place to be. Breakfast served in the garden with a wide choice - available in the kitchen / diner. English family run business. Very helpful...

If you want to totally unwind and relax, this is the place for you. The location is superb - in the middle of Alet-les-bains, a very charming French village, two minutes walk to the gorgeous ruined abbey that you must absolutely visit, and close to all teh Cathar castles. The b&b is a lovely big manor house with very airy...

We spent 4 weeks driving thru France and Spain and I have to say that having dinner with Antoinette and Keith and the other guests in their garden is one of the fondest memories of our trip. They have lovingly restored this home to make it a place that welcomes strangers and very quickly turns then into friends. They are...
