We occupied the hotel with a group last month. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The garden and swimming pool are great. The hotel is located in a nice parc. Breakfast and restaurant were OK'ish. We enjoyed our stay. Rooms in the chateau are recommended.

My husband and I spent four nights at this beautiful, romantic hotel in the Haute Provence countryside and loved every minute. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly, especially Charlotte at the front desk, Jeremy in the dining room and Barbara who served us breakfast and took care of our room. Charlotte helped us a number of times with advice...

We had stayed here around 10 years ago and had left with a great memory. So much so that the first time we came back to this area we booked for our group at the chateau. Unfortunately things have changed for the worse: service got poor vs what you expect at this level (nobody at the reception most if the...

I am conscious that writing a review of one's honeymoon will always be slightly biased due to the occasion. At the Chateau de Massillan, it only heightened what would have been a great review anyway. My wife and I stayed at the Chateau de Massillan for 4 days in August 2007, immediately after our Friday bank holiday wedding. We were...

the setting of the hotel and its history is stunning: a former 16th century hunting lodge of Diane de Poitier (How often can you say that you stayed in a place where famous "royalty" has lived!) with a beautiful garden, its own vegetable garden, and beautiful views around the property. Apparantly there is even some original furnture from the time...

Stayed at this spectacular Château for a friend's wedding. I could not be more pleased with the overall experience. Samia and Charlotte at the front desk were incredibly professional and accommodating. From the amazing cuisine to the impeccable service, The Chateau Massillan provided a fairytale wedding that will be remembered forever.

Ambiance très romantique Repas délicieux Service superbe. A wonderful evening. The surroundings are tranquil and tastefully lit up so you can stroll after dinner under the moonlit sky. I would recommend it for a romantic tryst

Chateau de Massilan is the quintessence of Provence. The rooms, the restaurant, the staff, the pool, the gardens are authentic, perfect and well done. The staff is very professional, the menu a la carte is delicious, the breakfast is all bio and well presented. Everywhere a sense of well done. Bycicles available complimentary.

OK. The exterior of the chateau looks impressive, but our first room, a superior double in one of the towers, was disappointing. We asked to move and we were reluctantly shown anther room overlooking the courtyard which was nicer. The courtyard is lovely and we had a very nice dinner there on the terrace. But given the price of the...
