I appreciated the amenities like electric kettle and herb teas, bathrobes and sandals for all four of us , and the laundry hanger with pinches on the balcony to dry our wet bathing suits!
We liked the atmosphere of the pool areas with lots of greens of surrounding mountains and sky blue!
My only suggestion is doing some minor maintenance improvements in the pool area like putting off the stains.

We recently stayed for two nights, half board. WHAT a lovely experience. The place is truly lovely and the whole experience is great.
The reception staff are super welcoming, great start!! The room clean and well equipped and the bathroom very warm so the towels dry quickly, and then the baths are the REAL stars of the whole show. The water is hot and it is very difficult to leave, so the relax is assured!!
Food too is excellent and well, the experience is complete!!

It was difficult to believe this was rated 4 stars. The hotel is old, faded, minimalist and it’s reflected in the price, I was suspicious when I booked it, but there was nothing around and we wanted to try the hot sulfuric springs, supposed to do miracles for your body and spirit. Personnel is very friendly, this was the best part. The restaurant had a menu of six items all together and did not open until 8PM, so we eat across the street. At least the A/C and WIFI were working flawlessly, never take these for granted in Italy.

Well this place now for me is a garantee!! I have visited several times and the ideal stay is two nights half board because the thermal baths are fantastic and really make you sleep AND the food is excellent for the evening meal and for the breakfast.
A longer stay would also be great in order to explore the surrounding area and eating houses.
Only about 20 minutes off the main Salerno to Calabria motorway means that access is very fast, the car park is massive and free and the service is great.

We returned here for a weekend recently, as soon as the lockdown allowed. Capasso is part of the large Salerno province so as our area is now yellow we are allowed to visit. Well, the baths are soooo warm that when we arrived at 6pm in the dark and cold we headed straight to the water for an hour before dinner.
WHAT an amazing pool. The pools are open until middnight so there is plenty of time to enjoy and relax. The hotel was quite full as it is always popular, of course the numbers are still limited and with plenty of space between tables of course.
The food and wine very very good indeed and just in front of the hotel there is a small shop selling fresh local cheese including mozzarella, so we bought some to take home cos it is wonderful.

Wanna recharge your batteries? Wanna total relax? THIS is the place. The hotel has about 60 rooms on 3 floors plus bar and restaurant. But the true star is the amazing pool. This sulfuric hot water cures almost everything. STUNNING experience!

This hotel is special! The hotel is built on the grounds of a hot spring where the water arrives from underground at about 60 degrees C and therefore must be filtered and cooled before it enters into the pools. The water is heavily sulphuric and muddy so has wonderful effects on the skin. The big pool is massive (about 30 degrees) and can contain 50 plus people with a shallow section for kids, then there are two much smaller pools with much hotter water for the brave! Eating and drinking in the hotel is excellent too with a restricted menu and good food. NOT expensive and not to be missed!!!

After an 8+hour flight to Rome, we spent 2days here to unwind before heading south. Check in was fast & easy. We got a nice room with mountain view and balcony. We wasted no time, got into our swimwear, grabbed the provided bathrobe and shower caps then headed down to the heated thermal pools. What an experience! So soothing, different levels, different temperatures. Beautiful atmosphere and views while breathing in the therapeutic vapors. We spent hours going from pool to pool. Afterwards had dinner in the hotel restaurant, had a quick local walk, then early bed. Breakfast served was included, then headed back to pools to do it all over again. Spa services are also available on site. We felt fantastic and have booked for next year.

Goodness what a suprise. I was unaware of the history of this place which those clever Romans discovered in the 1200s, and they were smart guys. The hotel is four star and the room was ok, but the baths are TRULY amazing! You walk out of the hotel at level minus 1 and you fall into the lovely thermal bath which is at about 30 degrees so it is perfect for wallowing in the sun and there is loads of mud underfoot. Then we went to explore the other baths....the hot bit is at about 60 degrees so you cannot dip even a foot, and then below another bit is 48 degrees with loads of mud so everybody enjoys covering the body in the light grey stuff which in theory is good for the skin....
A truly lovely experience for couples and families too!!
