We spend 2 nights here. We really enjoyed the pool and sauna after the intense hiking in the area. The deco of our room was a bit kitch but nothing too bad; it was huge! The dinner was great but I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast, not included, costs 9€ and for that price, u'd expect great stuff but it wasn't.
Visited as part of a large business group. Check in was very efficient Rooms were quite large with loads of storage and very clean and beds were very comfortable The food option chosen was a buffet style with loads of variety and the quality was good and fresh The hotel is situated in the centre of a very clean and pleasant town just on the edge of the large square. Not really on the tourist route , but it was very nice to have the fortune to visit
We looked for a place to eat before a long drive back to Berlin from Czech. Pizza sounds like a good idea to our kids. Indeed the food was tasty and the service was really nice. It might be the best choice (specially in Sunday when everything in the town seemed closed). The hotel looks nice and we might check it in the future.
I was eating with my parents at this very lovely and cosy restaurant. The waiter was were shy but polite. We waited kinda long before we got the food, but it was so delicious! I recommend the dark Steiger Dunkel beer together with the Flammkuchen!
Super food in both restaurents! Not just the regular "schnitchel and pommes choices" but real restaurent food :) We had excellent service and smiles all around. Downstairs is a restaurant at day and flame-baked-pizza place at night. Upstairs "August der Starke" is a full blooded gourmet experience. Enjoy
