The owner welcomed us with all the attention and was very kind and always available for all our requests, as well as giving us good advice on local stops and places.
We traveled by motorbike and were able to park in the garage (which has a timetable); However, there is the possibility of parking on site, both for cars and motorbikes, and the area is under video surveillance (great!).
The room was very large and welcoming, clean and with a balcony; good and plentiful breakfast with homemade cake.
The location is also strategic: the town is very close to the lake (10 minutes), the parks in the area (Gardaland, Caneva 10 km) and also convenient for Verona (20 minutes); The tour of the Pre-Alps and the Translessinia is also suggestive.
The room was of a decent size but with a bit of upkeeping such as a carpet change as they were ordinary ones and the bathroom fittings were a bit worn-out. This was the most expensive rooms for our holidays and believe that it might be a bit overrated. Thumping noise of guest residing on upper level could be heard. The front-office personnel gave an impression that they were hired to deliver a minimal of service.
By the way, two females having a casual conversation ignoring your guests were leaving your hotel did not leave a positive experience.
On a favourable side, the Cuban staff, Angel at the bar and the other one, we did not retain his name, doing our room were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast set-up area was perfectly well-executed ensuring a fluid traffic flow, avoiding guests from bumping into each other. Food and beverages in terms of quality and variety were more than expected. A nice external set-up for those liking to enjoy the outside terrace area.
The mature lady who seemed to be a person of few words perspired a high degree of professionalism and a work well-done. We could not fault any of them in that area as the buffet was constantly replinished.
The kitchen is not really the strong point. Breakfast average. The rooms are fairly spacious.
Spoken English was not a strong point but they tried and this was all part of the holiday fun.
