Detailed Reviews
We spent a lovely relaxing weekend over Easter in this well deserved 5 star hotel. The premises and gardens are a dream! The service is of high class, efficient, polite, and very helpful. The interior designs of rooms and common rooms and restaurants are top notch.
Location is not too good (advantage - it's a bit further away from the very busy and touristic lake, but the motorway can be seen and heard (not as bad as I imagined and most times one doesn't need to sleep with open windows anyway and the windows are noise cancelling). The only problem was that the walls between our room and the neighbours room was extremely thin (plasterboards, not brick walls) and we could hear every conversation of our neighbours, not to speak about their baby's crying! I have no idea how this could happen in such a well restored place. Clearly the architect was not thinking. What is the point of having heavy noise cancelling windows but so thin walls? This might not be a problem in all rooms but we were in the rooms adjunct to the restaurant starting with 400. So if you book and noise is an issue for you make sure to book a room in another building with thicker walls.
The food in the Michelin star hotel was excellent and worth every penny, the food in the mainstream restaurant was good but too expensive for what they offered so we ended up eating outside, breakfast was - for Italian standards - good.

Drive up between the cypress trees and you'll arrive at the villa, placed perfectly between rolling vineyards, shaded terraces and lush gardens.
The property is magnificent, grandiose yet unpretentious and is a perfect destination for a relaxing, romantic getaway. It almost feels like it is suspended in time, with delicate patinas and mature gardens hiding any signs of modernity.
Our room was a standard king, styled to suit the properties design and overlooked the restaurant terraces, pool area and the vineyards further on. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioning was easy to use and there plenty of storage space for our belongings without having to use chair backs or desk space (pet hate). The bathroom was a good size and came with ample complimentary amenities and a rain fall shower. Any modern touches were implemented perfectly into the room as to not feel refurbished or ad-hoc.
Villa Cordevigo is a wine producing estate, something which the hotel blends seamlessly throughout your stay wether it be while dining in the restaurants, or taking in vineyards which wrap around the property. We had a wine tasting with the hotels sommelier who took us through the hotels wine list in an adjoining Taverna. The passion and love shown by our host was evident and we had a wonderful time learning about the estate and the ethos behind Cordevigo's wine collection.
We dined at both restaurants, Oseleta and Le Bistrot. The former being the properties Michelin starred flagship complete with taster menus and wine accompaniments, and the latter being a more informal, a-la-catre style. Both were an experience in themselves and the staff, food and atmosphere were superb.
The staff throughout our stay were fantastic. Echoing that grandiose yet unpretentious vibe i spoke about earlier and looked after us from start to finish. Thank you all for your hospitality!
We would love to come back in the future!

Coming to Villa Cordevigo is like going back in time several centuries, while simultaneously enjoying modern luxury and service. The hotel is in a fully restored 18th century villa with many of the original decorations in the rooms and other areas of the hotel. The patio and garden behind the hotel are among the most beautiful we have seen in our decades of travel, and the pool is beautiful, large and relaxing.
We loved our room (except the tub – see below), which was very 18th century but with thoroughly up-to-date air conditioning, bathroom and internet connection. The bathroom was large and updated, but the tub/shower was almost impossible to get into and out of because it was so high.
With the exception of the main restaurant during dinner, Villa Cordevigo’s staff provides superb service – the reception, bar, pool, housekeeping, sommelier, and porters all were very helpful and friendly. The wait staff in the main dining room (Bistrot) were wonderful at breakfast, but inattentive during dinner – very disappointing. At the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, Oseleta, the waiters and sommelier all were highly professional and attentive, and we had a wonderful dining experience there.
We suggest walking around the entire grounds at Villa Cordevigo, including into the vineyards, as you will be able to see this superb property from many perspectives. We also recommend trying the outstanding Villa Cordevigo wines, which are excellent and reasonably priced. A wine tasting with Paolo is a great experience, as he is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. This is a wonderful and relaxing place to visit and we highly recommend it.

We read many reviews and made 4 night stay reservation based on them. For us, that was a mistake as the hotel fell very short of our expectations on a number of fronts:
1. You have to park far from the entrance and are shuttled in with a golf cart. Unpleasant start for us.
2. The "jr. suite' bathroom was totally inadequate. No proper place to put our toiletries around the old fashioned pedestal sink . Ended up using the window ledge! No separation in the bathroom between the old fashioned pull the chain toilet and the sink! Quite disgusting.
3. A/C clearly did not function at all. Was very noisy and did not cool the room at all. Had to Open window to the courtyard to get some cooling effect for the room, but that exposed us to the noises all night and early morning of the staff coming and going with the golf carts on the gravel motor court.
4. Although we had reserved our 2nd evening at the 1 star Michelin restaurant, we thought the first evening at the Bistrot would be appropriate. Upon entering at 7:45 pm the Bistrot had only one other couple in it. We felt that was odd and a bad sign as the hotel parking lot was full of cars and we understood the hotel to be full as we could not get the requested suite. The menu was extremely limited and when we asked about the Spada alla Melanzane, we were warned that there was No filet of fish in it, only 'flecks' of the Spada. They had obviously been asked by previous guests as we had to dig through the eggplant to find any 'flecks'. Shockingly bad meal.
5. We put our Breakfast Card for Room Service out, but when delivery at 8:15 was passed by 30 minutes I opened the door to find the card still on the door knob! Took it down to reception, they apologized, but to not delay our breakfast further we went back to the Bistrot. Breakfast pastries could not not possibly have been made fresh there. Was like Costco quality. Terrible.
6. This stay was after 4 other excellent hotels in the No. Italy region where we had wonderful experiences including Castello Guarene, Lido Palace in Riva del Garda, Pallazzo Parigi in Milan and Vila Calvane in Tuscany.
We were fortunate to check out 3 days early with no penalty (kind of them), move on to our next hotel on Lake Como and continue to enjoy Italy.

THE CONTEXT: Villa Cordevigo, Luxury Wine Relais & Spa, a gorgeous, charming, noble residence from the 17th Century, in an exceptional country setting.
A private drive, lined with old cypress trees, leads to this country mansion, well preserved by the Delibori and Cristoforetti families who carefully take care of the property's beauty and the beloved guests.
THE PLACE: a beautiful terrace Bistro with a stunning view on the perfect vineyards. This is an informal place where you can enjoy the best Italian traditional dishes and a number of the most amazing gourmand creations.
THE MAN: Chef Marco Marras, leading the cuisine brigade.
He is young, yes, however you will be enchanted by his creativity, coming from the place where he was born (Sardinia, one of the most beautiful places in the world) and the multitude of experiences gained in Italy (Portofino, Apulia,...) and abroad (Miami, Hawaii, Geneva,..).
He is young, yes, however thanks to high techniques he is able to propose dishes only apparently simple, but in reality complex, perfectly balanced and delighting also the most sophisticated palates.
The Chef carefully select only top ingredients, so even a tomatoes sauce is a real symphony!
My sincere compliments, Chef Marras!!!
My suggestion? Choose whatever you prefer, everything is simply delicious!
Of course, due to the restrictions imposed by the need to stay safe, at the moment we can have lunch and dinner only at the open air Bistro - the Michelin star Oseleta is still closed to preserve our heath. But hopefully it will re-open soon, and then we will be able to taste an even more advanced level of fine dining. We all wait for that moment!

We stayed at Villa Cordevigo as a last step of our road trip in Italy. From the arrival, where you get picked up with your luggage on a golf car while your car is being parked, until the departure where we got offered a delicious bottle of their Chiaretto Spumante by the sommelier, all our stay was absolutely perfect. Lovely rooms, in the style of a « Château » but completely reviewed, large Italian shower and extremely confortable bed! The pool is a quiet area, surrounded by the vineyards of the domain. Excellent service at the pool as well, nice sunbeds. The only thing that could be improved is a larger choice of homemade food/snacks by the pool.
We booked in advance a wine tasting to try the wines from the domain, and it was a great surprise. The sommelier who gave us the tasting was lovely, explaining everything about their wines and grapes.
I did not have the chance to try the Michelin restaurant as it was closed, but the bistrot cordevigo is way more than just a bistro. The service is as good as in a gastronomic restaurant, where waiters will come to present your dishes, refill your wine and water, making sure that you are having a great time. Dishes are very well presented, and simply exquisite.
Definitely a place to stay if you are around Lago di Garda ! Will come back for sure

Had a great time here and would definitely return. We liked the buildings, the friendly staff, the room (not huge but very comfy) the pool ( large and plenty of space) and of course the house wine. We borrowed bikes for a ride around the vineyards ( map from hotel). We also loved the bar and patio which was very historic and. Spacious. Wonderful just to hang out. Our highlight was the wine tasting given by Paulo who was entertaining and knowledgable about the villas wines .
What we would improve: please build a tennis court or two! You have loads of space near the pool and they don’t cost much to build or maintain. It would be a real attraction to us and something we always try and find when we book hotels. The bistro food is nice but the menu is quite small and doesn’t change - it would be nice to see a special dish each day. Also a cheese plate for the bistro menu. The service in the bistro was rather hit and miss but we understand you are training new staff and we didn’t mind at all and it was quite amusing. Lovely hotel and staff thanks for a nice stay. If you get a tennis court we will be back !

Stayed as part of our 30th wedding anniversary and can’t fault the hotel. Staff were professional and courteous, daily room cleaning service by extremely efficient and polite maids. The bottle of Prosecco, congratulations card and dessert at dinner were a lovely touch to help celebrate our anniversary were a lovely touch and greatly appreciated Restaurant very good with great food. Breakfast was great with large selection of hot and cold food. Pool area and hotel grounds were so relaxing and immaculately maintained. Room was very spacious and bed very comfortable. Overall we cannot fault the hotel. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable!!

I loved the villa with his peaceful garden and the beautiful rooms and salons. The restaurant is excellent and the pool area very well kept and relaxing. However what my husband and I have really appreciated has been the top service at every level. From Paolo, a great source of knowledge of the villa and its history, who brought us through an amazing wine tasting full of details and information, to Daniele the maitre, Matteo and Asia, working at the restaurant and the bar, all the people working there keep the excellence of the service together with a relaxed, warm and discrete presence. I highly recommend it. We will come back for sure!

We are on a trip to Italy from Canada and booked 3 nights at Villa Cordevigo. Beautiful elegant high end hotel in an old villa Veneto. Close to vineyards and points if Interest in the area yet private and quiet. Beautiful views and beautiful grounds. Our room (Eleganzia) was very spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The service was impeccable. Silvia at the reception, Nunzio at breakfast, and Niccolo (?manager or owner?) At the front desk were particularly great. The sommelier at the restaurant on the terrace where breakfast usually takes place was also particularly helpful and professional. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
