Borgo Romantico was born in 2019 on the hills of Cavaion, 6 km from Lake Garda. A Country Wine Relais with 24 beautiful rooms, 100% Green Energy, among organically grown vines and olive trees. A long avenue of olive trees will lead you to the rural residence from the early 19th century, where you will begin your journey through simple, true and welcoming experiences. A careful restoration makes the 24 rooms magical, different in color and size. Spacious, elegant environments, overlooking the greenery of the vineyards and the park, enriched by beautiful authorial images. Furnished with 43" TV, safe and minibar, air conditioning, entrance with badge, wooden beams and terracotta floors. A swimming pool with hydromassage among the olive trees, Finnish sauna, massages service, a splendid portico, the Wine Shop and the Wine Bar, are the perfect places for your relaxation. While the excellent Osteria Preella and the Ristorante al Parol, in front of us, await you for lunch and dinner.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Bardollino or Lazise, this is the place for you. Very nice, quiet accommodation with beautiful, tasteful rooms, large bathroom, we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Great garden with pool and seating everywhere, unfortunately we couldn't use it as it was too cold. The breakfast buffet lacked nothing and there was also very tasty coffee. Very friendly staff, we came back with dirty mountain bikes after a tour and after a quick inquiry as to whether we could possibly wash the bikes down, the gardener was called straight away, who brought us a garden hose to clean the bikes. We will definitely come back.

Our first time visiting the region and we were not disappointed. Borgo Romantico is set in the most beautiful vineyard and very well located to nearby towns as we were able to walk everywhere.
We arrived much earlier than we had anticipated but the hotel staff were very happy for us to leave our cases whilst we explored before check-in. We found our room to be very spacious and clean, with a nice view over the vineyard.
Breakfast was lovely - we were able to sit outside and have coffee, tea, cereals, yoghurts, pastries etc. There is a great selection, even fresh honey and honeycomb. I was also appreciative of the gluten free options on offer for guests.
We booked the wine tasting activity which was very interesting. The wines themselves are wonderful and we were able to enjoy these with a platter of meats and cheeses during the session, again with a gluten-free adaptation.
We also rented the electric bikes during our stay and were able to cycle to Bardolino. The bikes are easy to use and we were grateful for the quick lesson!
Overall, our stay was fantastic. All staff members are kind and always looking to help their guests. We were sad to leave and would love to return - thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Not the most recommended for families with small children, very quiet and pastoral with an amazing view... The issue of sustainability is an anchor for hotel employees... This is reflected in several ways - for example, in the change of towels once every three days. It is not possible to get additional towels for the swimming pool. At breakfast it is necessary to be careful about the amount of food poured onto the plate so as to avoid throwing it in the trash, And also to observe silence as much as possible in the public areas. In my opinion, this is according to standards that do not always exist with small children and can create unpleasantness in front of the hotel management.

Good morning Yossik, and thank you very much for the long and beautiful review. The mission we have chosen is Hospitality and attention to People and Nature, and on this we truly want to give the best of ourselves. We could become a relais only for adults, but at the moment we regret making this choice. So we ask families to be close to their children, to help us maintain the relaxation and tranquility that we promise. We produce wine and oil with organic methods, use 100% green energy and try not to waste water and to use as few detergents and cleaning products as possible. For this reason, we suggest that Guests use their own bath towel in the pool; if they don't have one, they can buy our towel for 4 euros (it costs us more), which also becomes a souvenir of the holiday. For the same reason, we offer free change of towels in the room every three days, but if Guests want a change every day, they can do so payng a litle extra. Our goal is not to take that money, but to have all together an environmentally friendly behavior, greatly reducing the consumption of water, energy and detergents. The positive things: The outdoor and pool area are amazing. Our room was beautiful as well. Breakfast was good. At the end of their stay, they gave us a bottle of wine which is def a nice gesture.
The negative: Towels are changed after 3 days! or else you have to pay 10euro per towel. During booking there was no mention of this. Same for pool area towels, you have to pay 10euro to have one. Considering the price we paid we expect these things part of the price not paying extra literally for anything. Also, we had a booking for 3 people (2 adults + child) but somehow this was not showing on their system. We asked for an extra pillow and the receptionist was extremely arrogant. First she told us to wait till morning since they are short of staff and she's on her own. After some "arguing" we got the extra pillow. Useless to say that this attitude ruined a bit our stay. If they are short of staff it is not really the guests problem.

Good morning Drattas, first of all thank you for having appreciated Borgo Romantico, a place that we ourselves love very much. Then I must say that I am surprised and sorry for the behavior of the colleague at the reception. I'll do a check. Regarding your reflections on the additional costs for towels and pool towels, I try to give you our reasons. We have chosen to be an organic farm for many years. And this is an important decision for us, which also involves you as guests. On our site, in the welcome letter at the reception, in the rooms, we say this and ask all guests to help us not to use more cleaning products than necessary; not to use more water than necessary; not to produce discharges that are harmful to the environment more than necessary. For this we ask guests to use their own bath towel in the pool. Because in this way we do not have to carry out continuous washing and discharge pollutants. From experience I can tell you that there are people who use 3 or 4 towels in one day. So, if a guest does not have their own pool towel, we rent it, but not for free, because the message is the one said above, and it is important. Therefore we ask 3 euros for the rental of a towel, to discourage its use. Or we sell it at a cost of 10.00 euros. And we explain it. For the same reason we write in the room that we change the towels every 3 days. If you want to change them every day, there is a supplement of 10 euros for each change. It is not a question of money but of awareness and choice. The guest is free to choose between having an environmentally friendly behavior, or to contribute to the cost we have for all the ecological choices we have activated. Regarding the booking made with Booking. We receive reservations directly from Booking and other portals and, if it is written that it is for two people, it means that it was made for two people, without indicating the presence of the child. This is important for us, because we have rooms for two people and rooms for two people with additional beds or sofa beds, already prepared and ready for use. The cost of the third or fourth bed is always extra. Let me know if, after my explanations, you think you can improve the grade you gave us. a very relaxing place, lovely vineyard surrounding, it makes you feel at peace. our room had amazing views, we could watch sunrise, sunset. big room and bathroom both very comfortable. on the other side the rooms a/c didnāt work.
the staff isnāt really trained to treat guests. in general they are very rude, they answer back terribly.
we were told to leave out luggage in a place where everyone could have access to because we arrived early and they didnāt had a secure storage room.
we had the do not disturb sign and they opened the door when we were there.
at checkout they werenāt charging the correct amount of out stay, we had to tell them to double check.
in general this is a very nice place, you can get to lago di gardas towns easily, but staff really needs to get well trained.

Good morning Marina and thanks for the review and the nice words on our Borgo. I'm sorry if the staff were rude, as it usually doesn't happen. However, I must say that, for check in, we clearly communicate on the website and on the email you received before leaving, that we don't accept arrivals before 3pm. We can anticipate, but only if the customer warns us and we check if the conditions are there to give the best service. And anyway, we didn't welcome before 1pm. The reasons are very specific. We need to better follow the customers in the hotel until check out, and then do the cleaning properly. If you arrived much earlier, without announcing it, the colleague was wrong if he was not kind, but he should have told you to come back later. For other things, unfortunately sometimes it can happen. I will speak to the colleagues at the reception. We try to do our best, but unfortunately we are not perfect. I conclude by saying that I hope to still have you our Guest and to be able to show that we can do better. Have a nice continuation.

Everything was fine. Friendliness and service are particularly important to us. Both were 100% correct. The accommodation is ideally located. There is a very good restaurant in the immediate vicinity and Bardolino is just 15 minutes by bike. We will be back!

The Borgo Romantico Relais is a true jewel hidden in the Veronese hills. The magical atmosphere, elegant rooms and courteous staff create an unforgettable experience. The breakfast is excellent. As already reported to the Management, great courtesy and helpfulness on the part of the reception staff supported and put up with us. Breakfast ok, but suite with very minimal minibar and above all not replenished daily. The environment and the suite very nice and clean. The present upon departure was very welcome. The price of the suite is medium-high and perhaps more justifiable in the summer months with other services available.

Nice place, very clean and spacious! Large, clean rooms with super comfortable bed! Breakfast ok, nothing exceptional but with many things to choose from! We liked the location of the hotel because in 20 minutes you can get anywhere... Lake Garda, Verona, Val Pollicella! If we can give one piece of advice I would say to put a water kettle in the rooms or at least in the Suites so you can make a tea or a coffee! However, everyone is very kind! Well done š

Among the best structures seen so far, everything is in its place, whichever way you look at it, it is pleasant, beautiful, comfortable. The adjacent road leaves a light subgrade that poorly intersects with the natural width of this structure. The breakfast was well assorted with savory and sweet options. Is it worth asking 6 euros for two eggs and 5 euros for a juice? Is it better to write a nice proverb on the breakfast table or perhaps the weather forecast? We had a great time and I would say too little, but we will be back.
