Rooms not really clean . The room gives the impression of an old hotel with old furniture and that the rooms have not been renovated since long time . Air conditioner was broken , shower door was broken . Overall the room is big but not really for a 4 * hotel . Breakfast was so poor . No vegetables , no yogurt , one salami , one ham , one cheese , bacon and eggs and small choice of musli . Some more options of sweets but I am not really a fan of these. Filter coffee and you could ask for a cappuccino or espresso to the waitress .

We arrive but despite GPRS we struggle to find the entrance there is only road signs but visible only from the left
We enter the covered garage 👍👍
Then a desolation of signs after signs to reach reception
Once opened the lift was very spacious and clean
Reception I'm not saying ugly but not beautiful either
For the keys they had a revolving thing that looked like the one used for chips
We arrive in the room, clean and fine, everything is ok, only the window handle is very hard, you have the impression that you cannot force it to avoid the risk of breaking it
Then instead you have to force it
Other than that, the balustrade was safe but one that was not properly secured was wobbly and a child would play dangerously
Bed ok

Let's talk about the very recycling breakfast the day before
On the piece cakes
Wiustel and sauerkraut a little old
Coffee from the bar, undrinkable cappuccino only the nice little heart, the rest was just passable

Two automatic machines for hot drinks, just enough teapot, very used, not even nice inside
Excellent mozzarella, cooked ham and mortadella
For cyriac people I can have breakfast

Room rating 6.5 x window and railing otherwise the structure could have been given a higher 5 in general
Breakfast 5.5 no more Waiter who tidied up the room a nice 4.5 he only knew how to put tablecloths and not even that well

At first glance it looked like a ghost hotel like in western films, totally empty hotel, there is no one, at the reception a very young, nice girl, old hotel, lots of flowers and plants but in plastic, placed at random, not at all beautiful, decorations of Christmas, always all in plastic, they seem to be made just to say Christmas, bad taste, no holiday cheer, it doesn't matter, it's fine for us, clean room yes but glued furniture, broken furniture, rearranged.
In all we saw three employees, one at the reception, a waitress, a cleaning lady, no manager or director, very strange.
Big surprise at the restaurant, no one with us at dinner, made the sign of the cross before entering, but everything was surprising, high level food, well looked after service, hot dishes prepared to perfection, never seen my children eat like this much.
Nothing in the end let's say that the quality and price of this hotel can be fine, it certainly needs more attention, also because of the four stars there are certainly at least two missing. 😎

Amazing value, great location, polite staff and very clean. 5 Star!
I wanted to take this moment to iron out any concerns.
Yes the hotel may be of a certain age and yes there may be areas that require updating but PLEASE don’t let this put off booking.
We arrived late due to a delay and we were welcomed by a member of staff in the early hours (2am to be exact) who was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed in terms of breakfast and room service.
Initially we had feared the reception would be closed but thankfully all was well.
Breakfast - being vegan I was worried about this but I did not have to worry. There is a wide selection of fruit (much of it organic), beautiful watermelon, seeded grapes, apricots, peaches etc.
Plus, cereals (inc. gluten free options), rice milk, soya milk, fresh bread, jams and more.
There were also salad /savoury options available.
For non vegans, there is lots to choose from including meats, eggs, cheeses, a wide array of cakes, cereals, croissants and much more.
A good range of drinks available too! Bottled water, juices, tea, coffee and more!
The room - Very clean throughout with daily room service (including fresh towels daily)
We had room 409. A wonderful view overlooking vineyards and a small village heading towards Lazise (well worth a visit).
Also great for sunsets!
Transport. We recommend renting a car - we only stayed 4 nights but this proved to be the winning ticket where we were able to collect (and drop off) from the airport vs. What may have been a lengthy shuttle transfer.
We recommend touring Lake Garda, there is so much to see, the people are great and the charm of the villages/architecture/scenery around the lake is really breathtaking. It takes about 4 hours to lap the lake, recommend in stages to get the best experience.
Verona is very close to too (approx 35 minutes by car) and well worth the visit.
If you’re feeling ambitious, Venice is 1.5 hours away by car (we plan on visiting when we return)
You’ll not go hungry, the food is extremely plentiful and affordable wherever you are in and around the lake (plenty of vegan options too)
To summarise, if you’re looking for somewhere with charm, good honest people and service with a smile this is the one.
Don’t let a few minor faults with the hotel put you off a holiday to remember.
If like us, we were there to experience the culture, the scenery, the people, the food,..not to live in the hotel and pick out small irrelevant faults like cracked bathroom tiles and worn paintwork, this is unrealistic.

We look forward to returning in the future and send our best wishes to the staff!

The hotel is dramatically shabby. Beyond its location on the motorway, the rooms are devoid of everything (only one chair and a table), not even a shred of mini bar, no slippers, no bathrobe, towels with holes, military blanket made of electrostatic batteries, zero service in room. It is not possible to have even a bottle of water in the room. The bathroom in 205 was in indecent condition, with pieces of the sink broken and on the floor, and the bedroom with light wires dangling from the ceiling. The temperature in the room was 40 degrees, with the air conditioning broken. The telephone in the room was also broken and therefore not working. At check in the employee takes my credit card and writes the numbers on a Post It: when I tell him that there are more modern tools for pre-authorization, complaining he tells me that he will then use the POS to do it but he avoided it to let me a favor. Dramatic. But does this hotel really have 4 stars? I will report the situation of this hotel to the Veneto Region because it is offensive to customers who select a hotel based on stars. Not even two stars with these services.

All the staff starting from the manager and the receptionists were welcoming, courteous and helpful. Very attentive to any customer need. We stayed in a junior suite for two adults with two children for five nights with breakfast included. The beautiful, spacious room, always tidy and clean, equipped with a small outdoor garden furnished with a table and armchairs, the large and comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower. The Italian and international breakfast managed by two scrupulous employees has never disappointed us. At check-in we were given a free pass to access the adjacent water park whenever we felt like it during our stay. The structure is very beautiful even if not recently built. Strategic position to go almost everywhere. A special thank you to all the staff who do their utmost to make your stay pleasant while trying to remain invisible. We will definitely be back.

Myself and my friend stayed here recently. This hotel was really run down. No mattress protector on the bed and hairs and stained in the bed that were not ours. The gentleman on the desk wasn’t very helpful, he said that the free way was one way and the lake 5km away and the restaurant was here and pointed. It cost €40 just to get a taxi one way to Peschiera del Garda and we weren’t prepared to keep paying that so we left the hotel and booked somewhere closer. On leaving I explained why we were leaving and asked the reception to call a taxi and we were told we need to call one ourselves as they were busy on the phone!! Such a lack of customer service. We left here after 1 night.

Response from Direttore Eurocongressi, Proprietario at La Rondinaia in Eurocongressi Hotel
Responded 26 Jan 2024

Great staff, very clean, spacious rooms, and great breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast = typical large selection as it is common in Italy
Dinner = Good varied home cooking (Like eating at friends' houses).
There was also free access for the entire stay to the aquapark above the road.

We booked a week despite some negative reviews and were very positively surprised.

Despite the age of the hotel we felt very comfortable.
For the high season, the price was unbeatable.

Thanks again to the whole team for a wonderful time!

Many greetings
Family P.

We stayed one night to visit Lazise and Bardolino. Arrived at the hotel we were informed that the double room booked was not available and that they would upgrade with a junior suite, of course at the same price: huge room with garden and a large bathroom. They accompanied us to the room showing us the route and the elevator to take, availability and friendliness maximum. Included in the price the garage for the car and a fantastic, rich and varied breakfast with tasty desserts prepared by them. Hotel taken in management for about a year, with the meticulous manager to every minimum request of the customer: very considerate and attentive. Next door is the Riovello Water Park, where hotel guests have free access (savings for a family of 4 are not small, the cost of the hotel is repaid).
Discovered for the proximity to the lake, about 6 km, I can only give top marks for the treatment offered and for the value for money.
Congratulations, we will definitely return.
Sebastiano

Friendly staff but the room wasn't ready at 2pm, even on this occasion we waited until 2.30pm. It's not nice to wait also because this happens systematically every time we stay. Clean hotel (in the accessible parts), clean room, average dinner even if the choice is limited between two/three first courses and two/three second courses for dessert there is no choice.
