We went to this hotel for our honeymoon. I never imagined to find it so charming with a rustic room and the Fjord view, hiking trails in the hotel, etc. We love the nature and we were so pleased to take our honeymoon in such a great place. The staff are so welcoming and the breakfast is delicious for a...

This is just what you expect of a Canadian vista! Superb views, nice walks, good food and friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable and it was very fitting not to have a television. We just watch the sun setting over the Saguenay and enjoy the peace. There is small bar area and a gamesroom. Coming out after our evening...

My husband and I just spent two nights at the Pourvoirie du Cap au Leste and we had a good experience there. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. I booked a room in a small private chalet. It was good. They had a very few trails that we did (sentier du phare was the best). The breakfast buffet was...

This pourvoirie is located 6kms from the main road…you are driving 20 minutes in the middle of nowhere but the place is scenic overlooking the Fjord. it's a series of wooden chalet. Rooms are simple but clean. It's very quiet…no wifi nor TV… but instead…guitar concert next a outdoor wooden fire… The service is friendly and the food is really...

Pros: -Amazing view of the fjord. -Possibility to rent ATVs, sweet ride to nearby town called Ste-Rose du Nord and access to the water. -Canoe and hiking on site. -Good dinner - the lamb was excellent. Cons: -The initial room we got facing the river was narrow and dark with small window. Asked to be upgraded to a better one...

Such a great place, with extraordinary views! The staff is really nice and helpful, the dinner was amazing and they even did a "special" plate for me, since I'm vegetarian and there were no options. The room is big, comfortable and tidy, the only thing missing is a fridge. There are many trails to do and find out great views...

we had a wonderful time at la pourvoirie. the view on the fjord is outstanding. Certainly one of the best place. Food was good and healthy. There were vegetables (we miss vegetables in some other areas). great hiking. I would have spend more time there if I knew while booking.

Had the pleasure of spending this new year eve at La Pourvoirie Cap au Leste amongst a few friends. First thing you notice on you way up to the premises is how deep into nature as you tackle the steep hilly road that finally leads to the reception lodge. As you walk in you can't help but notice the cosy...

Despite reading the sometimes negative reviews, I decided to book 2 nights at the Pourvoirie in early July. Granted, it is a good thing that we were in July and that we were warned that the dirt path was long (I can see that in Feb with ice on the road it would be more challenging, even dangerous) Our room...

Last week, I took my partner on a trip through Quebec to see the Fjords/whales in Tadoussac for our 5 year anniversary. When searching for a hotel in Saguenay (a stop on our drive to Tadoussac), I stumbled upon Cap au Leste online, and based on its location, stunning views, and positive reviews, I decided to book a night. Well,...

“1- get a room with a view on the fjord, as it's really the + of this place and it is amazing 2- if you go in winter, the 7km access road is difficult (towing is 225CAD...). Make sure your car is equipped for this. 3- best period is end Jan (we were there too early for ice fishing).”

“It is worth paying for a room with a balcony and view of the fjord. It is better to have dinner at the hotel than face a long drive back in the dark. Take good mosquito spray if out and about on warm summer evenings.”

“Dont expect a very good view on the fjord even if you pay for it... unless you pay for the room grand luxe that are on the third level.”
