For Auli visit, We stayed in Tattva on 4th and 5th Feb, 2021 with family of 15 person including Aged, youngers, couples and children and booked 5 rooms. It was nice stay for 2 days with superb facilities and negligible problems.
Let me tell you first pros.
1. Its royal stay and it will give you feel of relaxing stay with beautiful view of mountains, glacier and greenary all around. 5/5
2. Staff is extremely polite and helpful from first to last moment of our stay including owner, managers and care takers. Specially Mr. Anup and Shef. Paaji (I forget name) are very helpful. 5/5
3. Rooms are clean, sanitized and well furnished. There are many other facilities like Heater, gyser, Hair dryer, cattle, water bottles, cupboards, soap and shampoos. We Wake up by Songs they played during morning like Hanuman chalisa, ram Chopai are fantastic and gives real feel of Devbhumi etc 5/5
4. Restaurant is Best part of this resort, where one can enjoy snow mountain view while eating delicious food.one Must take Breakfast+dinner plan. Jain food is available on request. 5/5
5. After our auli trip, Campfire was arranged for us outside restaurant and they played requested playlist including DJ, bhangra and garba and we danced alot and enjoyed. 5/5

Now What I think should be improved.
1. Location: It's far from Main market 1.5 to 3 km, so one cant go for shopping in joshimath without vehicle. But it's best for spending more time with family. So we selected this resort. If we wanted something from market, Mr. Anup was always there. 4/5
2. For delux Rooms and restaurant, one has to go Three-four floors down, which is quite uneasy but there is slope on behind and wheelchair is available for aged one. Standard rooms are at lowest level. 4/5
3. Twin sharing Delux Rooms for family given are different. One with mountain view, other with No view and rest are big enough for 3 person per room. For us, They dont provide heat blankets in some rooms. But after requesting they gave in children rooms (May be due to electricity issue in area.) Heater is provided in each rooms. 3/5
4. Wifi was not working (may be location problem) but who need it now a days..! 3/5

My Final review 4.8/5.

We stayed at Tattva for two nights, 3 families. The interiors of the rooms are catchy, the sky blueish colour combination in the rooms and the garden flowers around the property really make it soothing; it’s wonderful. The property space is not big but still feel like spacious while roaming in the property. Very well maintained property. Hygienic, neat, clean, airy and flowery…

Mr. B S Rana is the chief resort Manager and he is absolutely keen on maintaining the property, ensuring the warmth for the guests on the property, and the service responsiveness.

Great location - Narsingh mandir is 10 min away, can be seen from property, the same road further goes to either Auli, Tapovan or Govindghat, not too long from Jyotirmath temple.

Would certainly recommend this property at Joshimath to the ones, who want to visit.

Tips - Standard rooms are only three at the moment - well fits with the budget but, not spacious enough for tall and big guys. Whereas, the other two are costly, especially the premium ones.

Would recommend to talk to Mr. Rana before booking. He was courteous enough to offer better deals. The property might offer an upgrade if the customer is confirming some consistent deals.

A highly recommended resort.

Tattva turned out to be better than expected. Clean and cosy rooms, very good food and awesome hospitality. All attendants in the kitchen as well as the reception staff took personal care of all our demands. Special mention for Vipul for keeping us engaged and his amazing playlist :). Great recommendations by Ravindra in the kitchen. Ravindra got his team to prepare special garhwali cuisine for us and it was the highlight of our stay. Sachin, Neeraj and Pradip kept attending to all our demands for snacks, sodas and water bottles without any complains. Overall, a definite 5/5 and surely the place of choice in Joshimath.

We have stayed here in group of 11 people between 9th to 13th Dec. We have booked a long stay in advance in expectation of snowfall at Hotel in Dec and working away from home in a sceneric and quiet place.
Snow has not happened till 13th. But fortunately we got the snowfall in Auli during our day trip on 12th.
Tattva is a small hotel (not resort) in Joshimath on the way to Badrnath and Auli. Views from hotel are limited to town and rocky hills and not very great. We have booked Premium Luxury Rooms and they were well maintained however they were not having WIFI though its a basic amenities that one could expect when you are paying 5200/- per day for a room and its availability is mentioned on their website.
They don't have any place except stairs and corridor to play for your kids. Activity room just has carrom and chess which can't engage the kids for long. So they will keep running and playing in stairs and corridor and disturbing you while doing your office work.
Restaurant Menu is detailed but everything is not available. Portions are too small so that you will not feel Value for money. Gulab Jamun were too small as rasgully here in Delhi. One can eat both together in a spoon. Jeera Rice bowls were small and half filled that a person with average diet can alone have 3 plates to eat.
Buffet breakfast was having limited variety. No fruits. In the name of juice they have kept Rasna and Ruhafja. Under bakery items they were having only plain bread.
We have ordered alcarte dinner as we found the buffet was not having variety. But they forget what we have ordered and bring in half of curries and full of chapatis from order. Curry and biryani were not hot as per expectation so we have to get it reheat by the time full order has come after repeated reminders, everyone has finished there meal with Dal. It was a complete mess and wastage of food. We have called Manager but instead of listening to expectations he was feeling proud to offer 10% discount for spoiling the dinner instead of taking it as feedback.
Finally, on the exit day we have got our bill on 4th day but rate charged were not in accordance with what we had agreed in writing. The person who booked was not available so they start calling and discussing with her in detail instead of looking at what has been agreed in writing. After waiting for 20 min, we decided to move and pay for extra amount and request them to refund balance after reconciliation. We had also requested them to consider lower prices as they were not having WIFI as committed. They promised to get back and refund latest by EOD. But they have not felt necessary to refund or even calling up.
All in all, it was not a great experience from a hotel who is claiming to be a luxury resort. They don't have any competition in Joshimath so they are enjoying monopoly condition and charging whatever best they can for limited amenities.

10 of us friends, from diverse backgrounds, united by a love for travel, and ranging in age from the late twenties to the mid sixties showed up at the Tattva hotel on the 17th of July, worn out and weary after a 10 hour drive. The warm welcome we received immediately lifted our spirits and when we were ushered in to our cozy, clean, elegantly decorated rooms we knew we would be very comfortable there. We ended up staying there for 4 nights and loved every minute of it- the picturesque view of the mountains, the caring and polite staff, the good food and the lovely rooms. We even celebrated the birthday of one our team members and the Manager at Tattva Mr. Bhupender Singh Rana and his team members Pradeep Raj and Neeraj went out of their way to make sure she enjoyed her special day, as well as our entire stay memorable and comfortable. While staying here make sure you visit Auli. The cable car ropeway is just a 15 minute walk from here. It is a magical place and is incredibly beautiful even in summers- and our very knowledgeable guide Shiv Singh, who also doubles up as a ski instructor in the winters, gave us an unforgettable tour of the place. With Tattva as our base camp, we also made the long trek to the Valley of flowers and the scenic drive to Niti valley. The gracious staff, the good food, the tranquil surroundings and the delightful rooms made our stay at Tattva a very pleasant one and I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the hotel.

I've returned from Auli and Joshimath. Tattva's hospitality, service, and facilities are beyond description.
Mr.Rana (General Manager TATTVA GROUP) deserves praise for setting an example by making guests feel at ease at his establishment.

The entire employees, including Vipul at the front desk, Anoop, the food and beverage manager, and the housekeeping and entire staff (whose names I don't recall), always wore a friendly smile and were always willing to accommodate any request made by guests.

The nighttime campfire atmosphere, which became a bonding moment for guests through music and singing, deserves special recognition. I'll never forget how Mr. Rana surprised us with a special pasta during one of the campfire sessions. This was one of the greatest pasta dishes I've ever tasted.
In brief, having the luxury and comfort of magnificent rooms, hot water, heated mattresses, hot tasty meals, and constantly smiling people waiting to serve you is a blessing, and having all of these amenities in such a remote location makes it even more unique.

I will definitely return to Tattva and will tell my friends, family, and clients about this property.

We went there on family trip in Feb 2020 to enjoy the snowfall at Auli. Tattva provided us with the perfect stay option. The service was very good with Restaurant manager Mr Sandeep even curating a special dinner menu with local cuisine at our request. The location is close to most religious attractions at Joshimath and is hardly 1km from Ropeway to Auli.

Overall, a very good stay for the price they charge

We had a Disgusting experience checking in to this so called boutique hotel which is no less than a roadside stay in hotel. We checked in around noon and having had a long tyring journey from Rishikesh all we wanted is to have a bath and lunch. We were asked to wait for 20 minutes for hot water which later became 40 min, and when I called in this lady called Ritu Sati (she was in full view of our iternary) for a solution, she started comparing us with the other guests who were apparently quiet on this issue and that we were just creating some noise here, when we tried explaining her that we didn't pay 20000 per night to not have the most basic facility if hot water in December weather then what did we pay for?? She was so rude and unprofessional and hung up the call on us asking us to check out...we would have happily checked out had they refunded 90K that i had paid already. This is the kind of hospitality that we encountered for the price we paid for this hotel...if they can't provide the basic facility how are they running this so called boutique hotel with a commercial licence...hope they have one..and is it anyway to behave with the customers who have just checked in..we were a family with a child and until our stay we didn't get the hot water beyond a bucket..this lady Ritu need to learn some basic etiquette from her own staff Madhav and others or leave this business as service industry definitely doesn't suit her. The rooms are also very crampy, deluxe rooms were of standard size and premium were of deluxe size. Although I had paid the tariff for BF and Dinner, they created scenes during dining that no non veg and only very few veg will be served, this is for paying 1800 for a 10 year old!! Not a good place that we would suggest to stay, as our experience was horrifying.

Beautiful Property and warm staff. We reached Tattva after a tiring long ride from Rishikesh at midnight. The dinner was included in our package and we were afraid we might sleep hungry that night but, the resort staff called us at around 10PM to let us know that the food will be kept in our room before we arrive. Though there few things I didn’t like. The bathroom was too small and it hot water Geyser wasn’t working. Apart from this the room was super cosy!

The Tattva is a very beautifully setup place amid the congested mountains of Joshimath. Here are the pros
1) It has a great location, close to the Auli cable car terminal
2) It has good food given the limited options of the area
3) The room interiors are beautiful and the balcony offers a gorgeous view of the Shivaliks.
4) The staff is quite warm and friendly.
Cons
1) The room we stayed in was quite cold, the heater did not suffice and we had to ask for an extra blanket the next night
2) As it's a sleepy hill town, people are not always available so if you are planning to leave early in the morning, then it is tough to get fresh breakfast or someone to carry your luggage.
3) Tattva has a lot of stairs which does not make it a great place to stay for aged people. If you choose the cottages, you have to climb down five sets of staircases.
4) Since Joshimath is cold, hot water is barely available for 10 minutes even if you have the geyser on and it takes a long time for water to get heated.
