Detailed Reviews
We booked 3 rooms at this property for 2 nights from 7th Oct 2022 on our way to Yamunotri Dham. The property is very well located just opposite the beautiful Yamunotri river. The view of the river and the mountain is mind boggling. The food served was hot and very tasty . Their staff Adesh was very good and highly co-operative. Not the same of their manager, Mr Kailash Singh who was not available at the property despite we being there for 2 nights. He also did not pick up calls. As we stayed in tents, there was no provision of geyser. Though we were told of this before we booked the room, we never thought this was a major constraint as we had to go to Yamunotri peak early morning for which we were wanting hot water. Though Mr Adesh and team could get the required hot water, they were taking too long a time to bring the water from the boiler resulting in our delayed departure. As there is a wall inside the restroom, perhaps they can explore possibility of fixing a geyser at a lower level so that this dis-advantage is also taken care. Similarly, they should provide kettle with tea/coffee packets so that we need not depend on their staff even for this requirement. These two provisions should put lesser pressure on their employees. But for these two issues, the property was very good with good and clean rooms. It was a good experience staying in well maintained tents. I recommend this property to others.

+1
We stayed at Camp Nirvana for two nights on our Char Dham yatra and it is base for Yamunotri. We stayed in a cottage and had booked a room for 3 adults. As it was end of the season i.e. 4th week of Oct, so the occupancy was very low. The facilities are decent considering the location. Location is excellent on the banks of Yamunaji and provides magnificent view of mountains.
Our booking was with breakfast and dinner. They had prepared parathas, poha and sandwiches for us and also packed for us on the day we went to Yamunotri. In dinner, they had prepared 2 vegetables and dal along with chapatis, rice and salad and some sweets. Restaurant was few hundred meters away and the walk may be difficult for some elderly people.
Staff were helpful and polite. It was raining on the 2nd night of our stay and the staff served all meals in our room. May stay again on our next trip.

There are two camp nirvana next to each other.
So it creates confusion.
The location is a great on the river bank.
The rooms, dining hall etc are very old.the sound proofness between two rooms is very bad
But food was great.even South Indian food idlies, vada, sambar etc we’re excellent.

An amazing and calm place to relax urself out of the city chaos. The beautiful scenery provide view of the Yamuna river from the cottage. Lot of greenery and flowers around. Very well maintained and cosy rooms. Staff was good and so is the food.

HI, I have stayed in Camp Nirvana as part of my travel of Char-dham. It is almost on the river bed and had a distinctive feeling of staying in a camp-site since the rooms are not built in concrete and are tents. Of course, they have amenities like good beds and built-in wash rooms. Staff at the hotel are very polite and helpful. Food is good. I liked the place for it is very close to where two rivers join together. The scenic beauty in front of the hotel is marvellous, especially the sun rise.

It is situated on the banks of roaring Yamuna just ahead of Barkot. The tented rooms are excellent and has attached toilets. All the facilities are well maintained. The food and the service are very good. The staff is very accommodating; they gave us hot water, tea and packed breakfast early morning at 0430h so as to facilitate our pilgrimage to Yamunotri dham. They also updated us with the local conditions and rates. A must stay.

Our tour operator booked Camp Nirvana as part of our Chardham Yatra package. I am a regular traveller and used to stay in all types of hotels from budget to luxury. We arrived late in the evening and its difficult to see surrounding area or complete camp area.
We entered our tent and to our surprise it was very clean and with attached bath facility. Bed was comfortable and linen was neat and clean. They served dinner in a small dinning hall - not a lavish buffet but very tasty indeed and after completing Chardham Yatra I realise that this was one of the best. Next day we visited Yamunotri dham, 36 km drive from here and then a 5 kms trek. Trek was little difficult for us but after reaching Yamunotri and taking a dip in hot water, it was very relaxing. We reached Camp in the afternoon from Yamunotri.
The staff was very friendly and are always at your service. This camp is on the bank of river Yamuna and location is very scenic. We used this camp as part of our Chardham Yatra but I dont mind coming here just to relax and spent my vacation with my family in future. I am thankful to my tour operator for including this camp for my stay.

There is no better description that I can give that when you wake up you hear the mighty Yamuna river flowing just meters away from the hotel. Do take a short walk near the river it is worth it! Living in the nature is an experience of its own so don’t expect a luxurious tent but instead a very basic tent which caters to your basic need. Warm clothes are a must since the mornings can be very cold

I wouldn't call it a room. They are camps with just enough amenities to push through couple of nights. I didn't use their linens because they were neither fresh nor clean. This is definitely not for you if you have a phobia for creepy crawlies because the tent is not air tight. Though most of them are harmless, I found it difficult it get peaceful sleep after seeing few of them inside the tents. (I don't have a phobia but they make me uncomfortable).
