Well looked after B&B with very friendly owners. The rooms are very nicely decorated and very clean. Everything looks and feels luxurious.. The breakfast was excellent. Good tea and an scottish breakfast . Guests share one big table which was actually quite nice. Across the road is the village pub and behind that the loch. A beautiful setting on Skye.

A friend of mine told me about this B&B and its friendly owners and we luckyly choose this. It is a wounderful place to stay with a great view out of the window. Also it is a very calm area so we could enjoy our stay there very much. Chris and Elaine also cared very much for my vegan diet...

We also were interested in this Bed and Breakfast after reading the recent report, we agreed with the first impression from the outside, but behind that door is an amazing warm greeting and the best bedrooms we have seen, room with a view, and very comfy. We went to the pub for a lovely tea and it just happened to be...

Thank you for your lovely review and thank you everyone who has enjoyed their stay with us since we have started the bed and breakfast. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. Our rooms were clean and very cozy. Breakfast was great. We went to the Old Inn and had good food and hung with the locals a bit. Chris likes the Beach Boys so we had that in common. :-). With Elaine's perfect instructions we found and enjoyed the fairy pools after...

We chose this B&B because of its location which was an ideal base for a couple of days touring. Also we were keen to meet the person who had written a very clever reply to a negative Tripadvisor review. We were not disappointed on either count. Chris was a very nice bloke, very laid back and a bit of a...

I had the most romantic vacation I could ever dream of with my boyfried in Skye! We spent 3 nights at the Phoenix House where Elaine and Chris, the owners, were so friendly, so kind and extremely discreet. I had the sensation of feeling cuddled by the cosy atmosphere. The room was a beautifully docorated one and felt like being...

My partner and i had a fantastic week on Skye staying at Phoenix House. The room was excellent, the breakfast superb and the friendliness of Chris and Elaine topped it all off. I would have loved to stay longer if only to discuss more our shared passion for music with Chris. The quietness was most welcome, but so was the...

I have thought about this review for quite a while. My husband I stayed in the Highland Retreat room for 2 days. I am glad it was only 2. We had read all of the reviews, the good and the bad. We felt that the pictures of things that did not look good were from reviews from 4 years ago...

Management response:

It was with great sadness that we read this review and we are sorry you did not have a happy time. Clearly the psychological theory of "transference" is alive and well. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good (but not great). Well thats a good start. The gardens. It was such a shame that Mellors the gardener was...

We stayed here one night on 30th May & had a really lovely stay. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, incredibly comfy bed & the welcome very friendly. Would have been helpful to have had a mirror in the room rather than just the bathroom, but hardly a point that impacted our stay. The best bit of the stay...
