My husband and I stayed at the Wheatsheaf with our extended family and friends for a wedding, we took up all but one of the rooms. All the rooms were well appointed, ours being the four poster room made it that little bit extra luxurious. The only down side being that it has a bath only, it doesn't have a...

We often visit corbridge to pay our respects to my late father As this hotel was one of his favourites we booked it via groupon as there was a good deal on. On arrival it was obvious they were very busy serving food we went in the side door to pushchairs and staff busy serving as there is no formal...

Me and my partner recently attended a wedding in Corbridge and this was the closest and cheapest hotel in the area. Many of our friends decided on a premier inn a bit further out but I'm very pleased we didn't. After our long drive from Birmingham, we just wanted to get into our room and crash and the decor was...

Had a lovely weekend break here, the room and hotel were all clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly and helpful the food in the restaurant was nice especially the breakfast. The only problem we had was the adjoining room, we could here everything from next door. On the Saturday night two young lads had the room and were...

would recommend this hotel/restaurant/bar. its not the RITZ but is clean and comfortable with good food and drink. had a GROUPON deal so great value. the staff really make it, cant do enough for you. Corbridge itself is a lovely village, geared up for tourists with its quirky shops and lots of places to eat and drink. go and enjoy

We reserved a four poster room for one night. On checking we were greeted by a pleasant young lady who checked us and provided some details concerning breakfast and dinner. We were advised that breakfast was from 7.30am until 9.30am and that a table would be set for the two of us. The room was spacious and clean. The wardrobe...

Room was generally ok but tired. En-suite room fine but extractor fan full of clumpy dust and shower cord split so only half the water got to the shower head with the rest leaking out elsewhere. Breakfast was overcooked even though we were only ones at breakfast.

A large spacious room. Which was very clean, with a rather quaint view of the high street. We had breakfast on both mornings which were cooked to order. The service was quick and the food was of high quality. Would just note that any one with mobility issues would have difficulty accessing the bedroom floor.
