I had a wonderful stay at BlackBerry Hills! The location, high in the trees, is simply magical. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms were spotless, and the morning yoga was a perfect way to begin each day. The food at the restaurant was also excellent, and the wildlife was a delightful bonus! The only minor drawback was the daytime noise from the pool construction, which occasionally interrupted the otherwise peaceful ambiance.

I mulled over for a long time over which accommodation to choose for my 4 nights stay in Munnar. In the end, I chose Blackberry Hills Resort after reading the consistently positive reviews online, and being drawn to the ecological ethics and values Blackberry stands for. I’m so glad that I made the choice to stay here and recommend it wholeheartedly!
The setting of the resort is tranquil and idyllic, the estate grounds are generous, abundant in flora and fauna. Just wandering through the estate, one feels at ease, a perpetual sense of calm and bliss. I stayed in the Villa suite, which is charming and intimate with its wooden furniture and flooring. Love the little touches (like being provided with in-house Ayurvedic shampoo and moisturizer). The mattress is comfortable and of the right firmness — one gets perfect sleep here. One wakes up to a chorus fugue of birdsong. There’re about a 100 species of birds that live here.
The staff are extremely gracious, attentive, hospitable and very responsive— Anaz went out of his way to help me organize trekking activities and transportation. The in-house tea tasting session hosted by Arun that I experienced on my first night was really informative. And Hornbill restaurant— what a gem and luxury to have an in-house restaurant at one’s doorstep with abundant generous breakfast buffet and tantalizing food options. I tend to be a skeptic with resort restaurants but the menu offerings at Hornbill are simply outstanding, not to mention reasonably priced.

I have been in this place with my family for 2 nights in monsoon season. The resort is fully immmersed in the nature and the staff makes you feel at home: they are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We reserved two rooms (Altos and Cirrus): both types offer a lot of space, nice forniture and big and confortable bathroom (the difference is the view and the jacuzzi). Of course in monsoon season you have to deal with a lot of humidity; but we felt very confortable in the room. The view from Cirrus is fantastic. The restaurant offers very good Kerala cuisine with stunning view on te valley at a resonable price. The service at the restaurant could be more precise and timely (but to be honest we found similar issues in all the restaurant in India, also at 5 stars hotel). We tried the SPA for a Kerala massage, the yoga lesson, a guided walk through the tea plantations and a tea tasting session: all the activities were good are complementary; we had to pay only for the Kerala massage. We appreciated in particular the tea tasting provided by Arun and the walk with Robin. I would really recommend to stay in this hotel because it offers incredible value for the money, stunning views, the rooms are very good, the oofered services are valuable and you fill like at home.

Reputation well deserved . The service is simply exceptional with nice staff , all dedicated to serve you the best . The rooms are Okay , probably 1 or 2 having a view outstanding , others acceptable , could perhaps need a refreshment . We had an amazing stay at Blackberry Hills Munnar. The service-minded staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel is in a peaceful, quiet location with stunning hill views, perfect for relaxation and bird watching.
The restaurant was a highlight, serving incredibly delicious and fresh food with a great variety of local dishes. Dining with breathtaking views of the hills made it even more enjoyable.

Incredible view from the rooms onto the tea plantations. Very friendly and helpful staff who are a great help organizing your visits and trips around Munnar. The Resort's dedication to eco-friendly tourism is laudable including the offering of self-filtered water in glass bottles (however, after my partner spent our first day being sick after being the only one drinking the water (the only unpackaged and uncooked item she had consumed since arriving in India) we stuck with packaged water). The food at the hornbill restaurant was also absolutely delicious and the complimentary breakfast was very diverse with lots of different options. We also attended one of the complimentary Yoga sessions at dawn. It was easy to follow and a beautiful experience to see the sun rise over the mountains as we did our sun salutation. Lastly, we also tried a massage session at the Sisal Spa. There was a lot of oil and it was very relaxing :) Overall, we would definitely recommend people to stay at this beautiful resort with great staff and wonderful view.

Regarding our glass water bottles, we truly value your trust and have made a conscious choice to reduce plastic use. Each bottle of water in your room undergoes a multi-step purification process. It starts with our advanced UV/RO filtration system, which removes impurities and ensures the water is safe for consumption. After purification, each bottle is carefully filled by our team under the supervision of a manager to ensure cleanliness and consistency. The bottles are washed thoroughly before refilling, and the water is sealed with a label that includes the expiry date for your peace of mind. Our system is regularly serviced and cleaned according to the manufacturer’s guidelines to maintain its effectiveness. The resort is located in front of panoramic view which has 3 valleys converging. The view becomes more spectacular as the clouds start entering the valley..the chill the cloud brings along with it makes the experience more enthralling. You get the goosebumps because of view and because of cool breeze :P .
The resort has lot of greenery and flowers. The canopies created by the creepers and the trees makes a person willing to step out of the room and roam around. Though that doesn't mean that the rooms are not comfortable. The beds are cozy and the floor is wooden which makes it comfortable to walk barefoot. There are no plastic items and even the toiletries are provided in natural containers
All of this is made more pleasant by welcoming and warm staff. They have perfected the art of head bobbing and smiling which makes it pleasant every time you meet them. They seem to be proud of working in this estate and providing service. The restaurant is also sumptuous. If one's like food, the sin of gluttony will be discovered by them...
In short the place is good to unwind, sir back and bask in the glory of nature to leav behind the ghost of urban lifestyle

The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the misty hills made it a perfect getaway. The location was great, with easy access to tea plantations, waterfalls, and other attractions.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Waking up to the sight of green hills and fresh mountain air was refreshing. The balcony was a great place to sit and enjoy the view with a hot cup of tea.
The resort had good facilities, including a well-maintained garden and a restaurant with delicious food. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure everything was comfortable.

The way they welcomed made us feel home after a long ride from Bangalore. The staff were very friendly. Helped us in all possible ways. Literally none of them said 'NO' for whatever we asked. They did their best. It seems like their GM is responsible for that. Kudos to the team.
When it comes to the location this resort it the best in class. Preserving the nature as much as possible. Giving you a feel of getting engrossed in the nature. Perfect getaway from our mundane life.
The food was always the best. Tasty, hygienic and unadulterated (they strictly follow food standards specified by govt) food worth for the cost we pay.
On the whole the perfect way to run a resort.

Oh, the rooms all seemed identical to us .
All rooms are at different levels, but you would probably like to take the one's that are either closest to the reception or else to the dining room ( both being at 2 ends of the property ). The good thing is that all rooms have wonderful views of the tea estates.
Hi Gaurav, yes it is good to visit Munnar during this time. I am not sure about Naalakurinji but if it's blooming you should be able to enjoy it quiet closely. Have a great trip.... 👍
