We stayed in Haus Erika for a week during the summer holidays with our three young children. It is an extraordinarily beautiful and unspoilt area. Leslie and Manfred made us feel immediately welcome and couldn't do more to help us enjoy our stay, including toys for our children. Leslie had lots of valuable information on places for us to visit...

Our family's second visit to Haus Erika was just as wonderful as the first time, still providing a warm welcoming experience with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts. The surrounding countryside as well as the house is so beautiful and relaxing. Looking forward to returning.

We stayed for a couple of nights on our way to Italy. Wish we had stayed longer as the area is beautiful with plenty to see and do. Leslie was very welcoming, and even provided for us as vegetarians at breakfast. It is a beautiful house in a great setting - highly recommended.

Lesley and her family made us feel very welcome from day one. The setting and accommodation is beautiful and everything seems within a short drive away. We have a 5yr old and he thoroughly enjoyed his stay. The local German people were all very friendly. It really was a shame to leave. Thank you.

Stayed for two nights, with our 2 young children. Couldn't have been better!! A beautiful, large property with the friendliest owners. Providing just the service you require, providing hints for perfect days out, and a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

Lesley and Manfred very accommodating and friendly hosts, lovely chalet/house with dogs welcome! Fantastic walks/cycling on your doorstep and some nice restaurants close by. Thanks for a great short break, made to feel really welcome which made is so much more relaxing. The only thing we would like to see Lesley is perhaps some other options for breakfast like muesli/cereal...

Great location and wonderful hospitality. Room 5 ideal for family of 5. Double bed and bunk bed. Excellent views. English speaking host. No surprise it has won trip adviser winner awards. Attention to detail could not be better. 50 minutes away from Basel airport. Easily accessible for trips to France and Switzerland.

What a sublime experience. Incredible setting, utterly relaxing, warmly hosted and everything we could possibly have hoped for. Comfortable accommodation, attention to detail in every conceivable way. Manfred and Lesley run a fantastic bed and breakfast which our family highly recommends. We are looking forward to a return. A week was too short!
