Travellers' Choice
A green oasis in the middle of the Salento countryside, earthy and material. Yet extremely delicate with the clear blue of the Ionian Sea, just a stone's throw away, and the cobalt blue of the Adriatic Sea, not far away. A strategic position, his, at the center of all the most beautiful beaches and cities of Salento, but defiladed. As if to say that yes, you can get to know the truest Salento even in an atmosphere of peace and relaxation, lulled by the chirping of birds and the scent of the Mediterranean maquis. The Hotel is a member of The Begin Hotels. With its centuries-old trees, is a real garden. And, like any self-respecting garden, it knows how to combine wild nature in its own way with the feeling of protection and intimacy. Here you enter a real microcosm. A world where you can feel safe. But still a world. Multifaceted, plural, with large spaces and numerous terraces and green areas. A world in which to be pampered with carefully studied experiences that speak to the senses. Boutique is its atmosphere, refined but not ostentatious. The Hotel Giardino dei Pini is contemporary in its design and traditional in the values it conveys. Safety, intimacy, warmth, genuineness: this is its personal collection. Divided into Deluxe, Deluxe Garden, Seaside Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suites, the rooms are spacious, welcoming, all with large bathrooms. Thanks to their large spaces and their terraces and dehors, anyone can enjoy their own corner of intimacy breathing the smell of the sea just a few meters away. In the hotel there is the Amaranta Restaurant with the Chef Angelo Franzò and his elegant cuisine, based on respect for raw materials and the delicate exaltation of flavours. His is an art, a mosaic of flavors and colors, all perfectly balanced, which are recomposed in a single picture of a thousand sensations. An entire spa is exclusively for you. Live a unique experience thanks to the hydrocromotherapy pool, Turkish bath and Roman sauna. Regenerate yourself with the emotional showers, the Kneipp path and the chromotherapy cabin. Find your lightness in the flotation pool and savour the taste of relaxation in our herbal tea corner. We are here for you. With our treatments with the essential oils of the territory, with our massages with scents that smell of tranquility.

My friend and I loved this hotel. The facilities were excellent: spotlessly clean and well maintained. The big beautiful pool was quiet (felt like a pool in a private villa during our pre breakfast swims and late night laps). Loads of sun loungers and umbrellas throughout the day. The gym was good enough for our needs, cross-trainer, treadmills, bike and multipurpose weights. The pool bar guy was really nice, like all the staff nothing was too much trouble. I lost my smart watch at the beach and the staff called the lido and police to help me find/report it, eventually the manager and an member of English speaking staff took me to the police station so I could get a report for travel insurance purposes. Above and beyond! The breakfast was great. Warm croissants and pain au chocolate available. Plus cereals, yoghurts, breads including mini olive rolls, cheese meat, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Too many sweets treats to mention fresh melon (all varieties), cherries, kiwi l, pineapple and apricot. Coffee made to order proper coffee big usual hotel coffee ‘push button’ stuff. We over indulged! Thank goodness for the gym and pool. The hotel restaurant also had a glorious anti pasti section in the evening. The spinach pastry a favourite but the aubergine worthy of note. (Vegetarian mains not quite as thrilling). Really wish I knew the name of our favourite staff members to thank them for a great experience. Reception were helpful, again nothing to much trouble. Happy to research our requests - jet skiing for example. We made great use of the fresh beach towels daily. Reception staff managing to hide their smiles as we mispronounced towels in Italian. Coming home after a long day at the hotels partner lido (beautiful beach - the best I’ve seen in Europe) to a freshly made room everyday with fresh towels was a treat a novelty which did not wear off. The shower was great, great temperature with heavy water fall and additional jets. The room looked over an olive grove where the sunset behind. Double patio doors - French style balcony. Mini bar handy. Didn’t use safe. Felt total secure large gates locked at night - night porter operated. Perfect size property no trouble finding car parking spaces or sun beds even in July when we stayed. We didn’t make use of spa/wellness facilities - or tennis court -may do next time. Would love to return.

We urgently needed a room to stay since there was an issue with rented house. We went to almost each hotel in this area. They all are really no good. It was a disaster. When we found this we were more than happy. New, comfortable, great pool. Breakfast can be improved but c’mon! New air condition, clean room and comfortable bed - nothing else needed to rest.

Renovated hotel in the lobby and in the first floor rooms, with a sober and contemporary design. Friendly staff, clean rooms, large pool. So many mosquitoes. Prices not suitable for the structure. For 300 € per night you will find better hotels

This hotel is nice and staff friendly, BUT! The hotel is too expensive and you get extra fees for services you dont use!? Euh!! Attached a letter as explanation. I stayed 300 nights in all kind of hotels all over the world over the last 3 years and never there were "additional fees" -except city tax- Simply not acceptable!
