We spent 3 days at Kicheche Laikipia camp with our grown up children just after Christmas and had a fantastic time from the moment our little plane swooped down on the airstrip over the herds of zebra and the old bull elephant on the horizon who (we were told) likes to get in the way of the planes. Wow! This camp was the best of the 3 we visited during our trip to Kenya. It is the second time we have visited and I would have to say that the quality of service has got even better since the last time a few years ago. Loved this place. The hosts Andy and Sonya are wonderful, as is the rest of the staff. The accommodations were very comfortable and the food was delicious. The showers were great and had plenty of hot water:-). I also wanted to note that when I was there (early Nov), the days were warm and the nights and morning were COLD....

Where Kicheche Laikipia excels is in its attention to detail. Your every need is anticipated and thoughtfully attended to. The tents are spacious and attractively appointed. Kicheche Laikipia is a beautiful camp, the best food and Andy & Sonya & team fabulous hosts. The game viewing superb especially when elephant perform in front of the camp in the lovely lake. Some great night drives which included the elusive Aardvaark.

Excellent hosts and staff beautiful luxury tents wonderful location Game drives in Ol Pejeta must visit the Black Rhino Sanctuary and Sudan the last northern male white Rhino Gourmet meals were incredible beautiful touches in all the rooms makes you feel so welcome and at home Incredible stay!

This is a small, very well run, friendly little camp that we can't recommend highly enough. The tents are really comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need.
