This is probably the most remote and beautiful place that I've been! The road to get there is around 36 km of bumps in a very tight road but next to the sea what makes it worth it. The lodge is clean and the rooms are very big and comfortable. The staff is helpful and nice. On the other hand...

This lodge is 35km up a gravel road to nowhere. It took 45 min each way as the road was in poor condition and being repaired. We had a room in the main building with fabulous views down the bay. The room was spacious and comfortable. You have to eat in the hotel as there is nowhere else so they...

We recently spent 2 nights at Vogur on our tour of Iceland. The views from the lodge are amazing. The staff are very friendly and professional. The food is delicious. We look forward to returning some day.

Very nice hotel/lodge in a remote location but with stunning views. We had two rooms (one double one twin) in a sort of annexe onto the main hotel building. Both were nicely done internally and we were on the end of the block so had good views and a nice veranda right outside our window - it is a communal...

Had arrived around 10pm, having tried to call through all evening to notify the location that we would be arriving later. On check in we were not told that there was no water at the property, and only found out when overhearing others. Management seemed quite rude to other guests about the water situation saying "this is just natural...". For...

So far down a very stony road that we began to think that we had missed it! Perfect setting with it's own waterfall. Rooms large, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts and dinner were very good, plenty of choice and the staff were friendly

It hasn't a four star hotel quality but it is adequate and functional. We stayed in a family room (the grown up "teens" complained about the sofa bed (not long enough and utterly uncomfortable but they survived :)). The normal bed was OK. The lodge's dining room and lounge are very nicely decorated and the leather couches are quite comfy....

This Lodge is about as out of the way as you can get. It's about an hour and a half from the Highway 60 with fantastic views to the south over the Fjord and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The rooms are clean and comfortable, mostly on the ground floor with outside access. We had difficultly in getting in and out of...

Our room was large and mostly well equipped. However, the toilet ring did not fit the toilet. More important, the wifi was eratic, and the staff did not seem to care about this. The organisation of the breakfast was hopeless, no one was in charge and when customers asked, the response was not adequate. The hotel did not offer information...
