Clean, quiet and tidy room. Towels and bed linens are crisp, white and clean. Room is large. Carvery served in restaurant very good. Staff all very polite. Love the character of this very old (and haunted) carriage inn. Great location on the main street with a grocery store behind the hotel, a 30 second walk away, what a bonus. Ignore all...

Old Coaching Inn. Supposed to be haunted. Set in the lovely Sandstone Market Place, of this lovely English location. So clean, and the lovely staff so helpful. Wanting to ensure that your stay was enjoyable. The food in the restaurant is bad ice but well cooked, and served. Lokking forward to my next return.

Lovely old hotel, room was very cold, no luxury, but clean and tidy, the staff I did see were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, at started at 7.00, I came down at 8 looking forward to my full english, no staff in attendence throughout my breakfast, it seamed they had run out of beens, in my opinion, bacon should at least...

Hotel with heart, polite and friendly staff. Rooms very clean, bar meals very good. We've had stayed there as a break during our trip around England. Everybody always smiling and greeting you as you feel like at home. I would like to recommend that place if you enjoying your stay in old style hotels like this one. Will be back...

Restaurant room paper peeling off ceiling, cobwebs, carpet filthy, choice woeful and yes they still can't cook eggs, not even after complaining! Our room was ok with free wifi but shower bracket broken so you have to hold...

On arrival we rang the bell (mid day) and waited, and waited then went off for a coffee across the road at Costa. The bar was ok, "Lite Bite" lunch was ok, nothing special. The room (no 16) was depressing: it looked as though it had never been redecorated since the place was built, a long long time ago. It...

The Crown Hotel is centrally located in Brackley. It is a rather spartan and old fashioned hotel, but the personnel are sympathetic and very helpful. My room was at the top end of the aisle, meaning WiFi coverage wasn't optimal (if any). Furniture are old and wallpaper starts peeling here and there... But overall, clean and tidy. Bathroom is neat...

At first view I thought that the reviews on here were a bit harsh as it was an old coaching inn and therefore expected a little wear and tear however it's not that's it not clean. I noticed yesterday the carpet hadn't been vacuumed and there were bits all over including a toe nail clipping by the door. The light...

Stayed this w/e. Very tired hotel, paper peeling off walls and ceilings, Fitments show no pride...... television aerial cable laying on floor, but as a white cable it had been clipped to skirting with black clips, unable to control bedside lamps except with switch by door. This place need money investing in it to compete with modern hotels such as...
